Winter is such a complicated season. My warm, vibrant neighborhood becomes dull and menacing with leafless trees and ice scattered randomly across the asphalt. It's painful to even check the mail. Locked indoors by cold winds and the occasional snow storm, one can develop cabin fever quite quickly. A break from school combined with my being somewhat in between jobs has left me a bit bored and stir-crazy. I've been trying to read more books and learn to cook to alleviate the winter time blues. What do you do to keep yourself from loosing it midway through the season?
The snow is quite pretty though:

Like most, I become a bored-eater during the winter, so I've been making a conscious effort to make sure I'm eating healthy. My new favorite is this whole wheat tortilla wrap with romaine, avocado, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and blue cheese.

Hopefully, in March, I will be traveling to Chicago for about a week. My boyfriend is finally getting settled in and I'm thrilled to see him for the first time in three months. We have much to celebrate when we see one another. We've missed Christmas, New Years, our anniversary, my birthday, and Valentines. While he is at work, I hope to be able to explore the city more than I did when we visited last year. It's so big and there is so much to see. Any suggestions as to what I should put on my "MUST SEE" list?
Speaking of "Must See", even if you have already seen our set Zombie Tea Party, this photo is awesome:

Absolution is so gorgeous! It was an honor to be naked next to her
Hope your new year is starting off great!
