as for places to stay, i don't know how much info i'll have for you. i know there's some hostels downtown, but there's a good chance they're booked already.

tell you what - PM Apexxx, tell him I sent you - he can let you in to the SG Chicago group - there's a thread about the festival, maybe someone in the group will have some suggestions for you. let me know how things come together - if nothing else shakes out, i could offer up a couch for you - but our house isn't very conveniently located for what you're doing!
