Malloreigh isn't very good at performing her culture's gender role norms.

I’m private

These people are dear friends of mine. I sat through all 10:19 of this and enjoyed every second. I wonder if I would have enjoyed it so much if I didn't miss them.

It's hot and lovely and beautiful and summery here and I have been living in shorts and tank tops. Soon it will be Pride weekend. And I will be riding my bicycle in the parade. YAY!

Also on Thursday I'm taking a Greyhound to Revelstoke. Why? Because I crave summer storms and Vancouver is too temperate to have them. Why else? Because there is a girl there. I am going to bring her flowers.

Tell me: what is your very favourite type of weather?

I'm at the public library right now. SG isn't blocked... yet. So, in celebration of that, have a photo that would make them block access to this site if they could only see it.

Linds took that photo. We did a mock photoshoot for a documentary called Peep Culture that's currently in the making. Linds, myself, and two others spent a day with a film crew, talking about our use of social media, privacy issues, and why we feel it's necessary to share our entire lives with the internet. Why indeed?
Do you do it? Why or why not?

I keep certain aspects of life private. And share many a thing with the internet (example: meditation journal, nude form, miscellaneous thoughts and feelings). I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this topic. smile

I love storms. I used to drive from Sudbury to Barrie, On just to watch the tornados on the lake at night. Orange, pink and green lightning would flash horizontality across the sky and get sucked into the water spout. Only bad thing is, when you're driving beside the storm in the dark, you really have no idea where it is. I enjoy the thrill. Second to tornados, massive blizzards. We get our share in Sudbury and I never really complain about the pile up of snow and arctic temperatures. I was actually born on a full moon during a massive blizzard....so maybe that explains the love for cold weather. maybe? probably.

p.s. your comment on my blog made me blush. thank you.

Give me a crisp day, just after a light rain, and gobs of sunshine.

A picture like that causing a site to be blocked? I certainly hope not. They should load it onto the bookmarks-toolbar. biggrin biggrin

I prefer to choose what I share in different communities. Having a firewall between what I share and who shows up on my doorstep is somewhat important to me.

My favourite weathers are cool fall days and winter snow (not April or May snow, to be clear).

In a way I share a lot of my life on the net, but never anything deeply personal or emotional. Why? Good question!
