SuicideGirl: Malloreigh

Malloreigh isn't very good at performing her culture's gender role norms.

EDIT: My computer's back - I have a lot of catching up to do! I'll get back to you shortly!

My computer died!

Right after I had a chance to view Miss Lavonne's AMAZING set the other day, The White Queen powered down and refused to power up again. She became, effectively, a rather attractive and expensive paperweight. Ah well... life goes on!

I have actually really been enjoying my freedom. No obligations, and I've gotten so much more done without that time-waster that's the internet glaring me in the face all the time. I've been wishing for a computer-free life for some time now and I'm definitely enjoying it... but it'll be good when it's over, too!

I've spent lots of time with friends recently which has been grand... wish I could post photos but I haven't a machine to upload them to currently. Hope everyone's well!

Much love,
Malloreigh

P.S. If you were transplanted to another location for a year, a whole year, and you had to live there and work there (assuming you could legally work there), where would it be - if you could choose? What would you do (remember, you have to be qualified for it and able to do it)? What type of place would you live in? Would you return to where you are now after the year was over, stay there, do something else?

The Internet sucks without you, Mal. I hope you get back soon!

Location doesn't really matter much to me since I consider cyberspace more of a home than the physical world, but California is the closest thing to paradise I've seen. As for what I'd do, I've always wanted to be the sort of high-paid consultant corporate directors call when they've become totally ignorant of all the ways their company is fucking up. I'd do a little research, make a detailed presentation to the board regarding all the ways they're stupid and how they could be less stupid, and walk out with a $100k check. That will probably have to remain a fantasy, though - those sorts of people wouldn't hire me for such a job and I suspect I'd rather eat broken glass than go about getting the kind of qualifications they respect.

well if its only things I am qualified to do, I would move to Australia and work as an air traffic controller or with as the radar operator on their P3's...from what I heard I would stay. I would stay off base and would travel as deep into the outback as I could as regularly as I could.
