Malloreigh isn't very good at performing her culture's gender role norms.

So here is the post I've tried to write twice and twice have been denied.

Before I begin, though, please check out some items I'm selling in the SG Sales group - pieces of clothing from two sets of mine (Basement and Playing Tragic).

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Pink fishnet bra and panties:

Black buckle minidress:

Next week (Sunday 14th) I'll be putting up two more pieces (one from Bushido and one from Basement ) and the week after that (Sunday 21st) I'll be selling something from Sin City and another item from Playing Tragic. The sales are done through bidding so remember to check back often if you are interested in purchasing anything.

Now, on to the magic... the history of Mal, SG 2005 PART I, up to May 1st 2005.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I dated the guy who took these photos briefly in the first few weeks of January, just after moving back to Victoria from Drunken Duncan, BC.

It was a warm spring - I saw my first plum blossoms January 30.

I was living off of very little - partying as hard as I could and trying to pretend I wasn't hungry. It was a poor but very fun life I had in those first few months.

I was barely working (doing retouching and a tiny bit of webdesign) but I was happy.

I was doing a lot of modeling, too, and a lot of self-photography... learning, I suppose. Mostly just because I had so much time.

My wardrobe was composed of pieces I'd stolen from Value Village.

On March 18 2005, my set with Posh, Steamy, went up. It was shot in October 2004 by Miesha.

In late March the Vancouver girls (Posh, Miesha, Cerah and Tiamat) and myself did a cover shoot for Vancouver magazine Terminal City wearing this overpriced crocheted bikinis. At the time I didn't wear colour so this was particularly funny. They also had me in knee-high turquoise boots. WTF.

On April 26 2005, my set Sin City went up. Sin City broke the comment record on SG, getting more comments than any other set on the site. It held this record for about a year. I also won the monthly set prize for Sin City, which was an extra $1000 for my broke ass.

On May 1st, 2005, I moved to a new house in Victoria, which is where my next update will pick up.

I wish either of those were items I could/would wear, I'd totally bid on them.

I loved ( love ) Playing Tragic. That was the first set after you had your stars touched up, yes? It's gotta be my favorite... right after Bubble Kiss that is. smile

Good luck with the sales! Do you want to sell some limited signed prints from our shoots also? Or maybe we could do a couple and auction them because it would be far less work. Let me know! smile

these updates are super cute and bring back memories.

you know, i've only visited montreal a couple times. i really enjoyed it. i guess my only complaint would be that everyone is moving all over the place and i have to make more trips. but enough of my whining. montreal is beautiful and you should explore it!!

These 'trips down memory lane' are quite enjoyable. Sadly, my broke ass does not make it anywhere that my two feet won't take me. They raised the transit to $2.75 and my bike is still at my momz. Which says nothing about Montreal. Because I certainly couldn't bike there... or walk... so yeah. Woe is me. biggrin
