Happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates it and Happy Yule & belated Solstice to the rest of us! And I imagine there's Hannukah going on around now too? My family went overboard and I got gift certificates and a tripod (!!) and a rad toolkit. I'm going to buy a point-and-shoot camera... I dreamt about it last night! Eeee, I'm excited. Is four cameras excessive? Probably. I still need a film SLR as well.

Speaking of cameras I brought the Polaroid camera that Arik gave me with me on holiday, so I might have a series of Polaroids to post eventually. I've also taken lots of photos with my XT but I haven't uploaded anything yet - my computer is fairly nonfunctional here. Sorry, work... guess I can't clock in... heh.

Next week I'm going skiing. Best holiday ever.

Today is the third anniversary of my membership on SG! In honour of that, and the fact that my Mom is in the shower so I have to wait til she's done before I can shower, here's a slideshow of my first year on SG.

Three years ago to the day, my friend Damien bought me a membership. Here's me then:

Check out that muffin-top... this was before I was vegan so I had a bit of milk-fat on me. Giving up cheese and milk has done me well, ladies and gentlemen...

This is a shot from my first set of self-photography, while I was in limbo...



My first set, Basement Dweller, went up on Feb 27th 2004.



March 2004 at a playground - holy shit do I ever look different now. My face shape has totally changed.



Here's Posh and I a few months later in May 2004.



We never finished shooting that set. Later on we managed to shoot Steamy, though.

My second set, Wake Up, shot in March 2004, went up on August 12 2004.



Here's me after a summer of being broker than a joke in Victoria.



I keep pressing ALT+V instead of CTRL+V to paste because I'm used to my Mac and I'm on my Dad's PC. Ehhhck.

I had a late raver phase. Solaris called me on it. I had just turned 19 here...



September or October 2004. I loved this girl so much!



My second set, Playing Tragic, shot in August 2004, went up on November 25 2004.

Next time I'll do my second year on SG: 2005!

Your self photography was always grand, and that "raver" photograph is still gorgeous. Playing Tragic went up the day I got this laptop.
