outside it's all low sunshine, swift breezes and fluttering leaves, cats on the prowl, fog moving in from the ocean, crisp air, the lingering scent of baking pumpkin, scarves new or dug from the bottom of the closet, mittens and jackets, boots and rosy cheeks. i'm so in love (with the world) and i'm wearing a gaudy white plastic skull ring on my second-from-the-left finger on my left hand. some pirate gave it to me last night, and then another for the other hand.

this is my time, my season, new beginnings and that dark romantic undercurrent in everything, time for roasted pumpkin seeds and laughter.

i can't wait to be able to take pictures again!

I love this time of year . . . . and I truely love Halloween . . . . just not in Florida!

I was in Daytona Beach this weekend . . (see journal) . . it was 90 degrees! Ugh! Too Hot!

My morning ride on the beach was Wonderful!

That photo of your piggy-toes is Great!

Thanks! A combination of healthy eating via more vegetarian meals a week (4/7) and no stupid snacking and joining a gym and using it - around 4 or 5 times a week, mainly cardio stuff. I'm quite happy about it, as I've proved to myself I can do it and I'm feeling a lot fitter as a result.

I borrowed the hat from a very tall man at the club on Saturday night just to take that picture.
