oh goodness yes please. I know what you mean. It makes me smile just reading it. That hits so close to home right now. It's nice reading someone elses similiar experience with a job. I unfortunately don't know what to do about my own situation right now. It's not bad, it's just.... I dunno....numbing? soul sucking? Summer just seemed to pass without me even realizing it. I hate that feeling. I don't want years to go by like that, you know?

mmmmm sugar. I do that all the time. I have become very fond of strawberries dipped in sugar. And don't even get me started on turbinado or other non processed sugars.

Surprise! I'm alive! With my SG account reinstated, Bliv living on Dark Iron, and that rash I got from using the leg press in the Panda Attack locker room under control, all seems right with the world. Well, that may be going a little too far - all seems better with the world? And imagine my surprise to find that you never even pruned me from your friends list! Is there a mechanism for requesting a person's Super Special Double Extra Awesome Friendship? No? Well, what the hell is all this Web 2.0-y shit good for, then?!

I'm not exactly sure how one "sort of" quits his or her job, but I'm all in favor of any step you take to make yourself happier. I don't think you'll need to worry about finding freelance work with your portfolio, either - if I ever get my hands on some seed money you'll be the first designer I talk to about a few projects of my own.
