SuicideGirl: Malloreigh

Malloreigh isn't very good at performing her culture's gender role norms.

I'm going to read some Kafka - and you should read this article - and I'll go be an internet creep for another little while.

This goes completely against what the article talks about, but here's some self-absorption.

My nose looks fucking massive in that photo. It's hard to take photos of yourself, though, when your camera refuses to auto-focus.

I know very few local people read this... but the SG Burlesque was fantastic, hopefully y'all saw me on stage picking up panties like a little bitch - my whole weekend was amazing - I ran into someone I know from Calgary (used to live there prior to 2004) at a party and was very surprised - don't think he recognised me as I have very little hair and I wear a lot of colour these days.

This weekend's the Taste of Health festival at the Croatian Cultural Centre - check it out if you know what's good for you. TasteOfHealth.org - you'll find some yummy treats from VeganMania while you're there. I recommend the Spelt Oatmeal Cookies and the lemon cake.

Your nose is adorable, not massive. Silly Malloreigh. Glad to hear you were a hit at the Burlesque!

haha
"self identified Left"? Is being left wing like god now? We have to capitalize it? I'd like to know what political commentator said that, but she doesn't really quote anyone specifically.
I'm not sure how you can call this an article either. It seems like a pretty classic blog to me.
And you can tell that she isn't very well read. Society has been written about in literature for as long as there has been society. There are always problems, and each generation faces new ones.
I also love this bit: "And how it is fed by a self-absorption that has become ever more extreme in modern societies, although Kafka never connected this self-absorption (as I do) with the same material comforts that society has produced." That's were I stopped reading.

Don't get me wrong, Kafka is great and important to read. But the "article" sounds like it was written by a school girl who was assigned Kafka in her 11th grade english class and then decided to be an expert on literature.
