I'm going to read some Kafka - and you should read this article - and I'll go be an internet creep for another little while.

This goes completely against what the article talks about, but here's some self-absorption.

My nose looks fucking massive in that photo. It's hard to take photos of yourself, though, when your camera refuses to auto-focus.

I know very few local people read this... but the SG Burlesque was fantastic, hopefully y'all saw me on stage picking up panties like a little bitch - my whole weekend was amazing - I ran into someone I know from Calgary (used to live there prior to 2004) at a party and was very surprised - don't think he recognised me as I have very little hair and I wear a lot of colour these days.

This weekend's the Taste of Health festival at the Croatian Cultural Centre - check it out if you know what's good for you. TasteOfHealth.org - you'll find some yummy treats from VeganMania while you're there. I recommend the Spelt Oatmeal Cookies and the lemon cake.

Kafka was insane. Because of that it is hard to tell what of what he said was profound and what was insanity. Always keep in mind that his work contains both and nobody knows for sure which is which.

Well glad to hear it was a smashing success. Will there be any pics coming from there? If you have to read Kafka, try doing it while hanging upside down, in a room of mirrors while chanting Buddha's path to enlightenment. Either you will gain complete understanding, or you'll pass out. You reach the same destination either way.

ARRR!!!

That article is very well done, but uncomfortable as well as I have struggled - especially over the past year - with that feeling of numb horror and paralysis over the US and its actions in the world. The left shouting "in a soundproof room" is particularly disturbing. It's disturbing that 1,000,000 people - mostly in Europe - protested the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and our media barely mentioned it.

So... read Kafka, but keep a window open to let the sunlight in.

Argg. Second cool Vancouver festival I miss due to prior weekend engagements! This weekend's being the Canadian Coffee + Tea Expo.

Just wanted to give a shoutout for liking FF8. Lots of people crap on it and I thought it was lovely for its timing. And the draw system. And being pretty. So high fivez0rz.

Your face is so cute and freckley . . . I could kiss it all over!

Up close photos are always distorted . . . . best portraits are done at a distance, with zoom. Now, if we could just get the motor vehicle department to learn that! tongue

I just started reading Hunter S Thompson's book - Hell's Angels.

Tasty vegan goodness. Although it's nothing really special, just nuts really. But it's still awesome!

On the topic of noses, I just got my septum done. It is wierd feeling the jewlery wiggles around when I turn my head and such. ARRR!!!
