Trans Siberian Orchestra concert photos!!
For those of you that don't know who they are, they do Christmas carols and classical music in a rock/metal style. Their concerts are very elaborate; lights, lasers, pyrotechnics...well...you'll see in my photos.
I'm not a big fan of Christmas, or Christmas carols, but I loved this show! That should say something
A big "thank you" to my friend (you know who you are) for taking me!!

Help a girl out, won't you?
I'm being treated to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert tonight by a good friend, so there will be pictures to follow tomorrow!! I'm excited!!
Insomniac post!!
I decided that I wanted to update my Classic Girl set from what it once was...so I got in contact with revprint to send me some new high res versions of the photos. He re-edited them for me, and I just spent this past evening finalizing them...so here they are:

New, hi-res images, & no more bright white peach fuzz!!
Before & After:

So, what did everyone get up to for Halloween? I ended up staying at home cause I'm super lame
As it turned out, some unpleasant circumstances meant that I wasn't going to the party that I was supposed to go to that night
I DID make up for it in my very favourite way though: November 1st Discount Candy Day!!

I got myself 4 coffins full of Gummy Body Parts for $2 a pop, as well as about 6 bags of mini chocolate bars for $1 each!!
This is what the gummies look like (they are so very tasty
):

I failed to mention previously that I was treated to the Canada's Wonderland Halloween Haunt last Sunday (the 22nd) by my sister and johnlennon! We had a great time!!!
We started off the evening with a big buffet of awesomeness, and then we were off to the Haunted Houses!! They were lots of fun, and the rest of the park had such a wonderfully spooky atmosphere throughout. It should just stay like that year round
I hadn't been on a rollercoaster in...10 years? At least? Well, way back then before the new coasters, the only ride that I had never been on there was The Bat. For those of you that don't know this ride, I will refer you to THIS very helpful link. Well, that's the ride that we started with. I had never been on a coaster that went upside down backwards before! It felt like I was going to fall out...so I think that I was a puss for all of 2 seconds and closed my eyes
The only other coaster that we went on was the one that goes through the mountain; it was one of the few rides that didn't have an hour long wait! With the park only being open for the evening, it really wasn't worth it to wait around...though I really wanted to try out Behemoth!
The only thing that we were all a little disappointed with was the stage show "Fangs" that we went to. While the music and dancing was entertaining, they broke up each number with a rather poorly written storyline, and a couple of guys making terribly raunchy/corny jokes. Oh well, it's not like we had to pay extra for it!
At the end of the evening I purchased a couple of candy apples to bring home, which, until last week I'd never had before! We made a quick stop into Tim Horton's for some pumpkin donuts and drivin' coffee, and then we were on our way back home. All in all, I had a wonderful time! Many thanks to my sister and johnlennon for taking me
Pictures!!

My sister and johnlennon!

For those of you that used to watch Sailor Moon...obscure Ami/Sailor Mercury reference in this pic. I'm a dork.

The night was already starting off spooky...my jello attached itself to my cup!

...through red jello coloured glasses...

My sister peering through the spooky fog...this stuff filled the park!

...

I look so happy standing next to a guy with a giant nail through his head...I should be performing first aid or something...

CANDY APPLE!!! It took me a good hour to finish this thing. My parent's were right...these things are awful for your teeth, and are THOROUGHLY messy! No wonder I never got one when I was a kid!
That's all for now...I should really get to bed...5 a.m...yeesh!

I received a mysterious package in the mail today! On the elevator ride back up to my apartment, I was reading the return address and started to get excited: XXXX Virtual Way! Virtual Way, for those of you that don't know, means that it's from Nintendo!!
So I cut the box open, and there it was, my spiffy new Mario hat! For those of you that didn't read my blog a few months back, I decided on this as my reward for being a freakin' Platinum member of Club Nintendo (Platinum Member = spent $600 or more on recently released Nintendo products
).
It's become somewhat of a tradition that I pass all my silly hats on to my Kirby plushy. Why? Because the hats usually don't fit me, or they really have no practical use. So, here are the hats that I've aquired thus far:

Mario Hat! The only one that I have that Kirby actually wears in a video game...so far

This is Kirby's usual hang out...on mah couch watchin' the TV with me...I'm such a dork.

Another recently aquired hat is the Scribblenauts hat. It was meant to fit a child, so Kirby was the perfect candidate.
I got this for pre-ordering Scribblenauts through EBGames. Whoot.

Jayne Hat (Firefly)! This was my X-mas present to myself last year from Wear With Style.com. She makes them specially for you head size, though I think that I ordered mine a wee bit too big to account for all my hair! It's still super awesome...and cunning!

Ahh, the bone hat. This is the hat that started the Kirby tradition. He wore this hat proudly for a good couple of years.
I got this hat when I ordered the Duckman PC game from a software company (I really can't remember the name of it). They told me that they get promo stuff like this all the time, so they throw them in with orders. I think that I was more excited about the hat then the damn game that I was trying to find for months
For those wondering, the hat is promotion for a fairly tiny game development company called Headbone Interactive.
That's all for silly hats, a small collection at the moment, but I'm sure that it will keep growing
A friend of mine had his birthday party this past weekend. I promised him one of my sister's specially decorated bakery cakes, so I had her whip this up for him:

This is none other than the companion cube from the video game Portal! Not only does it look amazing, but it was also incredibly tasty too! Many kudos to my sister for being so talented
Aside from my adventures with Kirby, and zee cake eating, I've been hard at work in night school, and have been posting as many eBay auctions as I can to try and make ends meet.
I found this hilarious image on the top of one of the boxes that I had aquired for eBay shipments:

Uncle Ben's Rice box cracks me up.
If you haven't already done so, go check out my shiny new website! I have all my prints and books for sale on there, as well as my portfolio and links to the other various locations that you can find me around the internet.

Next: Zombie Walk tomorrow, and the countdown begins for Halloween! I'm so excited
