MADISON SAYS: “Scouting for badges can be hard work! Finding logs to make a fire, hiking through the woods to find berries, finding spots to pitch a tent. Catching insects to disect under a scorching magnifying glass. Adventuring around, getting dirty, wading in the river to swim with the fish and bathe. I worked for badges all day long under the hot summer sun.... I wonder if they give badges for being hot and naked!”
