aw i hope you're not in limbo too long - how covered with tattoos are you? i'm still a clean canvas (money!!!), but my first tats will appear within the next couple of months - just two simple latin quotes, one on each wrist.
there are big plans after that for more colourful work, but i can't wait to get these lil lovelies done.

i don't know if i'd ever get song or book quotes tattoo'd onto me, but then again, i've never come across a quote that's really struck me. i seriously adore your sleeve - is it fairly new or has it been a work in progress for a while?

February marks my annual trip across the Atlantic to hook up with friends in the US. So that will be about four weeks of cheescakey goodness.

And I'm surprised to hear prices go up at fairs. In the Netherlands prices drop at conventions.. It got me starred for about $75

i came across the quote2 years ago, and something about it struck me. when i came across quote1, about 1.5 years ago, i knew that i wanted them on my body. they go together well, although i'm keeing them seperate by having one on either wrist.

to me, they kinda mean 'try your best to get as far as you can in life, but do it in a way that makes you happy. that's something i've only recently (last 2 years) realised is so so important, and something i need to remember to live by.

although i've wanted these tattoos for a while now, it's been in the the last couple of months that i'm made some hard and big decisions about my life, and feel like i've come to a new chapter now, and that it's the perfect time to get them. not all my tattoo plans are so meaningful, but these two are important to me. they're tattoos for me, no one else. i can't wait to get them.

Anyway, I'll make sure to do everything in my power to get a good cheesecake recipe when I'm in the States. And where would I have better luck finding the best recipe? I'm visiting Austin, San Francisco (and Santa Cruz), Seattle, Vancouver WA and Portland.

I almost went to see Garbage since the Thermals were opening. But I'd just seen them at loveland not too long ago, and Garbage fans scared me.
