good fuckin food. those are strawberry-almond scones, made from scratch. yummm!

heres a couple other goodies ive made and/or consumed in the last week or so:

my dinner from last night: baked bbq tofu, mashed sweet potatoes w/ "punk rock chickpea gravy" (from vegan with a vengeance, on loan from the library), &roasted mixed veggies!


lemon poppyseed muffins


a big old fruit bowl, a gimme-lean "sausage" &hashbrown veggie sammich, &almond milk


peanut butter cups from alicia silverstones book, the kind diet


mango tangerine sorbet! mmmm...polished off the last of this for desert after that bbq!



know what else makes me happy?
-other straight-edge or vegan SGs (or better yet, BOTH!), like Moira, Bob, Candee, Madeleine, JaneDoe, James...who am i missing?? vesta &uva, too! love

Funny story about that episode: they made the lobby of the studio's main building look like a convention, and filled it up with extras dressed as fans.

One of the extras was this dude in a Starfleet uniform (actual uniforms from Paramount, which was kind of epic) who looked very much like he was cosplaying as Captain Picard, and the prop department gave him a lightsaber to carry around.

I knew it was outside my department, but I got the 1st AD's attention and told him, "this guy wouldn't ever be carrying a lightsaber, because he's obviously dressed up as captain Picard. It's a little detail, but it's the kind of detail certain people will notice."

I kind of expected him to tell me to just stick to the acting, but he actually thanked me for being an expert on people at conventions, and swapped the lightsaber for a phaser.
