Summer's almost over here, I can smell Autumn in the air and I don't like it.

In spite of myself, and circumstance, I've had a good summer. it's the first summer being single and instead of being filled with promiscuity and bad judgement like I feared, it was spent really getting to know people, doing things I could never whilst I had a boyfriend, I had no one to worry about or think about but myself.

Not that it matters, but the whole summer was spent completely sober, I was worried that singledom was no fun unless you were drunk, but I've disproven that!

The highlights of my summer have been:

meeting this amazing girl.

finding out there are so many sweet shops in my area.

and getting my beautiful snake pythagoras.

I love the summer and don't wish to see it end. Snakes can be really cool pets. I had to get rid of mine when I moved into apartment living. Also the scarab looks excellent. Have a great weekend. smile

Very happy to see you're doing so well. You've discovered a secret that some girls never figure out - spending time single can be a lot of fun, especially when compared versus taking whatever's available to avoid the supposed social ignominy of not having a boyfriend. And on down the road, being happier and more content and confident in yourself will make you even more attractive to the right kind of guys. smile

I've always preferred summer over winter as well, but the summer has been so blast-furnace hot where I live that I won't be too sad to see autumn.

The summer is still in full swing here in hot hot Texas, but in my heart I can feel the autumn closing in, and I think I know what you mean. Autumn has always been the most difficult time of year for me, everything seems to be ending, dying, closing down. Winter is fine, I actually look forward to it, but that transition is tough. Cheers!kiss

It is still hotter n' hell here, but they are just about to roast chili on every street corner, which is a sure sign that fall is around the corner, and it will smell delicious where ever we go! I love the fall......

Oh my GOD, look at that chocolate shop!! We haven't had anything like that here since the local Godiva went out of business (mainly because they were a snotty stuck-up bunch) - Slobber slobber slobber. I wish I had some... American "chocolate" is NASTY rubbery fake crap.

Dammit, where am I going to find good chocolate in Orlando at 2am!?! Look what you've done to me!
