I'm glad to hear that you are doing well. You look well, to the extent that I can tell from a photo. Practically nobody is genuinely compassionate, male or female. It's easy to be all "aw, sorry you're hurt," but real compassion is difficult, and requires a degree of honesty with oneself that is difficult to achieve, even if you want to achieve it.
