I thought this year would never end but December is coming. It's strange how even if you try stay the same, time just keeps rolling on and you end up being in a constant state of flux whether you like it or not.This year has been one of those. I've been trying something for the last while, to write down something I am grateful for everyday for 30 days to keep my mind in a positive state. What I've seen now is that everyday it's a person or people I am grateful for, I guess those are the parts of me that matter. So much love for my people. It's for this reason that I'm trying to disconnect from acting emotionally and irrationally, I think my experience in life would be happier if I could logically interpret feelings instead of indulging them but this takes a lot of discipline and I will continue to work on it.

I started pole again, it's been months but I was happy my muscles remembered things and it wasn't as hard as I anticipated.

My favourite song right now is 'Heartbeats' by 'The Knife' for some reason I can just hear it playing right inside my chest, I've had it on repeat since Monday. I just love the way she wails, it makes my heart beat a little faster.

totallyy feel you on trying to disconnect from acting emotionally and irrationally/logically interpreting feelings, & you said it beautifully. It's uber tough, but it seems as though you are too, so keep hangin in there lady!!

I found out if you just be yourself everything else will fall in place, like your job, friends, family, etc, lol, but I know people view or deal with things differently, and if you found that way for you, then that is awsome girl, and omg girl you have got some amazingly beautiful blue eyes, just my thought, lol, peace, love, blessed be from phantomshadow!!

I really like the knife, much to cuddlefish's chagrin. He describes their sounds as cats being violated by xylophones. He is a silly thing! I am so excited to see City of Gold <3 You look so great! <3

Oh now I'm going to have to put the heartbeats on repeat too. It's so infectious in the best way. I love your practice of staying positive. It's inspiring. Very cool how it showed you how important your friends are, not that you didn't know that, but how much stronger it is. Sounds like you're striving for the 'wise mind' (a dynamic balance of our emotional mind and our rational mind). I hope to hear any tips as you continue to learn.
