I sometimes think moving is so stressful because its' a metaphor for the life/death cycle. We tear down everything we have built around ourselves and rebuild it from scratch.

It has been said that we should maintain a state of constant departure whilst always arriving - it saves on hellos and goodbyes.

I just don't think they accounted for furniture.

Moving in is also a mess!
