This time last year, I had said my good byes to two Japanese guys who were in my city for the month of May.
I took them around to see the fireworks for Victoria Day,

and took them out to one of my favourite bars!

One night, (a week before), when I was drunk, I went to Tim Hortons, and heard what I thought was a conversation in Japanese. As soon as I could recognize a few of the words, I turned to the two guys just sitting there and said: " You! You're Japanese aren't you? Yes... one of them replied back in hesitation. Good! Lets be friends!, and that was that. Now Theyre back In Japan and, Although I haven't heard from them, I hope they are doing okay.
This year, my boyfriend came down to the city for the weekend, and we saw some fireworks with friends as well, but not the traditional way. We were with two other pairings hanging out when we heard fireworks from the balcony. So we tried to rush out to see some, but they were actually coming from different directions! Off we went in search of one of many sources of fireworks, in three pairs along the sidewalk, it was so cute! We didn't make it in time, but it was worth a try, and we did see some, but through the corner of our eyes, mostly

I'm so afraid to admit this, but I think I'm falling in love...

I really don't want to put my head in the clouds or romanticize this more than I need to. So I'm just going to remember that first and foremost, me and my boyfriend are best friends first. Maybe this way it will help me stay grounded about my amazing situation, and focus on how to keep our relationship growing

We are approaching the six month mark, and although that shouldn't really mean anything, its just nice to know that I am able to have a relationship for longer than two weeks. (long story; that boy wasn't over his ex... you know how it goes). Time is FLYING!!! We met in January, and haven't looked back since! Sweeeet!

This is one of my favourite pictures of us two so far.

This picture makes me giggle!
It was taken on Valentines day, and I think I need new pictures. Next week!!
