Why I am badass:
I woke up at 5:30 am to trek all the way over to the other side of the city with six glasses of water in my bladder, had 14 vials of blood taken out of my arm, two ultrasounds and a very invasive questionnaire, a full physical (and they found a lump in my breast. Shit.) , and then came all the way home took a quick nap, and am now planning to go back out again to go do Loki's hair and do my taxes. Tomorrow I go back to work and stay out all night for Queer Night.

Fuck yeah.

Have you had any surgery?

Dear Lord. That sounds like my worst nightmare. You're a super trooper.

And now, I've never had any form of surgery unless you count wisdom tooth removal and stitches.

it just occured to me how much 14 vials is. Wow.

Yeah, I've had surgery. Kinda sucks. I know the fear you get from finding mysterious lumps where they shouldn't be. Recently found one on my boy bits. Not cool at all. I got an idea what you're going through. *hug*

Yeah, I've had 3 knee surgeries and 2 shoulder... no fun at all.

I hope everything's ok re: the lump

I hope the whole lump business works out without any problems..

As for surgeries, if you ignore the wisdom tooth yanking, then I've only had one knee surgery, and my tonsils removed.. (both of those within about 6 months) It sucked, but it didn't really sem all that bad.. (well, at least after the whole recovery room stuff was over and done with..)

no real surgery except wisdom teeth removal which was kind of surgery.

I was born with a tumour, had various experimental operations that didn't do shit except cause me pain to try and get rid of it.

Ended up having 12 hours of surgery when I was about 10/11 years old to finally remove the thing. I think I have had my fair share of hospital visits for this lifetime.

actually I only got the top two removed and now my bottom right one is acting up and I don't have insurance and its really really really bad timing...
