then i am playing PA to my best friend as i see her career start to expand by leaps and bounds...

ahhh once again in the midst of a hiatus... is there no mercy?
freelance is the worst! 1 week you are up and the next 2 you have nothing and that of course makes being "up" obsolete because you fall so far behind in bills and payments ect that what you do make is already spent...
this poses the question then of qhashing the dream (make up artistry) for reality ... retail reality UGH!
if only i were a weathly older man...

hmm well the job at the sex shop was rather short lived...say 1 day of training and then...no more!
but the good news is the root of the termination...YES i am all booked up in the land of make up again! (YAY!)
i got a job at a spanish TV station (KRCA CHANNEL 20) thats nationwide, i ink the papers tomorrow and no i dont speak spanish hahahahaha...i worked on of those silly cheeseball mexican infomercials where they yell about used cars and hot chicks stand next to them
i made george lynch (of dokken and lynch mob) look like a danzigged version of wolverine for piggy's (from rob zombie) wifes shoot of him in the vahalla graveyard for an endorsement of a new line of guitar pedals
i also made $1000 in 3 days working for the boss (mr tom byron) and managed to pick up another job with a camera man i know...
more work is on the way. i cannot express how exstatic this makes me! i fully intend to load myself up to the absolute brink of exhauSTION!

so things have been rapidly changing for me, a constant state of flux! a roller coaster of ups and downs... sadly mostly downs as of late but i expect that things will get better...sooner or later??
lets see... ive been on hiatus from my regular make up work for some time due to the poor sales in DVDs no one is shooting, in addition its summertime so there isnt a whole lot of activity to begin with this renders me BROKE!!
in the past few months however i have still managed to score a few decent gigs...
like working for John 5 and Piggy D of Rob Zombie, the new Ed Hardy line of watches, im still there on SPREAD ENTERTAINMENT every thurs with Dave Navarro and just yesterday i was in the new SHE WANTS REVENGE video for the song "written in blood" off of their upcoming album (thank you adam and justin! xox)
i also just scored a PT job at a sex shop on melrose (HAHAHAHAHA) which i find to be rather amusing considering that i work on most of the girls that are in the videos when i do make up.

in other more disheartening news... i had to kick the BFF to the curb for schlepping and sleeping with all of the boys i was crushing on (right in front of me and then saying "what did i do wrong?" AS IF!) , lying to me and basically using me for her own personal gain but not reciprocating in any way! TWAT
but... she was replaced by a german bombshell with a taste for metal music and blood ...and hey... who can argue with that?

this AM i FINALLLLLLLY shot a set with sawa who ive been DYING to work with for the past year. i had the most amazing location (my boss' posh house in granada hills) and a fabulous time!

its just a lazy sunday...one that i opted out of going to a mansion party in palm desert for a boy that promised me he would be home from tour in the wee hrs of the morning and to wait for him in LA...
its beyond the AM and still i sit alone in my apt...
this is exactly why i am faithless when it comes to boys...and lately friends....
sad.
on a lighter note...it was my birthday a week before this thurs, it turned out fairly well. of course the party that i was promised never transpired because the "friend" who was supposed to host it flaked. but i still had a lovely day of work followed by drinks at the rainbow...at least the people that mattered were there and the people that didnt weeded themselves out of the mix by the middle of the evening.
i am still working for navarro who consequently suffered his birthday this thursday prior. bee and i as his "spread vixens" presented him with a blue cake that was quite horrendous in flavour... and jila the fire dancer litthe candles with her fingers while her boyfriend ANGELO from fishbone played happy bday on the sax... then i brought jila and angelo to jimmy kimmel to see chris cornel...who by the way could use a walker!! and 1 of his current guitar players used to be in buckcherry yrs and yrs ago when i knew the boys well and asked me for a ride to his hotel room after a gig in richmond. he was high on some illcit feline tranquilizer and kept attempting to get fresh with me so i made him a deal...i told him if he bought me a coke from the hotel vending machine and then serenaded me with MMM-BOP on acoustic guitar he could kiss me...i got the song...he never got the kiss HAHAHAHAH
what a bore! but whatevs, my friend books all the music so its VIP greenroom with free drinks and snacks...
last monday i had the pleasure of running into my good friend adam12 (from she wants revenge) at the viper. i was actually on my way home from another LAME night at the rainbow when my friend and i were cruising down the strip and realised that we 4got to stop over to the viper to see my favourite doorboy CASPER...then i looked up at the sidewalk and there was adam ...while inside i got a text from my good friend greg who is the bass player from the bangkok five...he ended up dropping by as well so i actuallly got to see 3 hotties at the viper that nite...
anyhow. so back to my boring sun. i dont watch TV, i dont even have it! and mr poopie (my laptop) fell down the stairs and went into a coma so i cant watch movies...booooo

so .... tarantino presents hell ride...with 13 sexy suicide girls!
that was yesterday, an 11 hr shoot...all in all not too bad. a little dusty, a little warm but i think we all kicked some serious ass! we saw dennis hopper for about 10 seconds in the lunch line and met the brit guy vinnie (dunno his last name) that was in snatch and lock stock and 2 smoking barrels...they treated us really well and we had our own trailer!

anyhow, my apologies for not commenting back, i have just been really busy!
sat i had a 10 hr photoshoot for a new line of jeans (A JEANS) hopefully i will get the pix back soon
monday i went to metalskool with my bffs the latina fire and the redhawk joined by the amazing
chloe who is all the more goddess in person...we went to the rainbow 1st to eat and ...none other than PARIS HILTON and her posse showed up. as a result there were paprazzi planted all over the sunset strip frothing at the mouth for a chance to snap her pic. im not a hater, i think she's gorgeous! anyway, she snuck out the backside of the ROXY leaving the camera freaks hungry and confused so when latina fire and i left the keyclub to visit my favourite doorman the incomparable casper at the VIPER ROOM the paparazzi started snapping our pix instead. HA HA HA
wed i went to a casting call for a new tv pilot called STARVING about LA hopefulls who are suffering for their craft and the crazy things they do to survive. i think my interview went well but i dont know if my stories were off the wall enough to make it considering the original premise of the show was a guy who had 10 spinal taps to fund a movie he was making...
thurs was the tarantino shoot and todAY will be bullets and octane at the key club.
so that was my week.
