best way to cheer you up: beer!

Well... Actually the best one for me.... is..... SNOWBOARDING.....
But my back still hurt and I'm a bit scared to go on my board again...
did it ever happened to any of you guys?
I mean...you do somethin you love, you very good at it...but once you hurt yourself very bad...and then... you scared to do that thing again...
What can I do? Cuz I know how I am.... If I go back on my board, I'm not gonna be able to stay on the slopes like a lovely little girl... I will straight go to the park, to run some kickers and rails....
