IT'S HERE!!!!
UPS just delivered a big box and guess what's in it?
My debut album!! (1,000 of them to be exact)
This is a huge, huge moment for me - I have been working on this project for the past 5 years and it's finally ready to share!
I wrote all the songs on the album and even started my own record label to release it. I recorded it at a professional studio in Southern CA. Our very own Exning is a featured vocalist on "Surfer Girl", a song dedicated to the memory of Jimi Suicide.
If you like the Rolling Stones, the Byrds, Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, Lucinda Williams, and/or appreciate Americana music in general, you will hopefully dig this. It doesn't really fall into any particular musical category, but it has elements of rock, blues, soul, gospel, folk, and yes even country...it's Harmondale!

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
UPS just delivered a big box and guess what's in it?

UPDATE UPDATE: Oct-Nov: Book a shoot with me in Nashville and get a FREE Zivity set shot the same day! Message me for more details.
Flew in from St. Paul yesterday, arrived in Nashville at 7pm, got my car, picked up the keys to the new loft and had most of my stuff moved in by 10pm the same night. All in the middle of a rain and lightening storm, and with no extra hands to help - but I did it!
It was great to have a lightning show over the downtown skyline in clear view from the two big windows as I moved bags of clothes in....couldn't have asked for a cooler welcome.
More pictures of the space soon.... Only hours after moving in and I have my first appointment with the lovely Episkey this afternoon...

I've always been domestic at heart.
I found a $100 Cuisinart Breadmaker on Tigerdirect for 40 bucks (refurbished), so I figured, why not? (I don't have an oven in my apartment either, so I really can benefit from this)
It got here super fast and was in a huge box....I thought it was going to be a lot smaller but it's a pretty
big machine!
And it is currently baking its first loaf, a banana bread.
The aromatherapy is amazing.
I can't wait to program it to bake in the early morning so I can be awakened by the smell of baking bread.
Oh and almost forgot - I am growing my own kombucha mushroom from scratch to process my own kombucha tea. This is the new "mother" after 2 weeks...has about another week to go.
Thanks for a great month SG; I was so happy to see Valhala, Hiky, Chride and soon Prism make it to the Front Page! Congrats ladies, well done.
Here's my dog Baby boy chillin in the tall grass...it's been really hot.
My friend producing my album is finally sending me the rough mixes for review so it's a relief to know that that will be done soon. In the meantime I am editing videos for the songs! They should be pretty hot and I can't wait to share them with you
Tovi is sleeping over next week, yay!

My mom came to visit and we spent the day at Opryland and later some honkytonking on Broadway.
Oh yeah and watched the Nashville city fireworks downtown on the river which were crazy.

I'm getting really excited about an upcoming trip in July - down to Panama City, FL,
where some SGs will be gathering for a beach house summer vacation - oh hell yeah! I have a feeling it's going to be amazing.
I'm also excited because I just got some really cute diggs in Nashville and it's going to work great as a studio/living space for awhile. Sooo...come shoot with me! I move in June 1st.
I made a little wishlist with a few essentials that would help make the space more complete. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky..
A couple weeks ago I took a quick (flying) trip back to the studio in Joshua Tree to finish up more work on my music project, and to hang out at Pappy & Harriet's...one of the most magical places in the world.
Then I came back to my new home of Nashville and Bitten flew in the same night and we went to the Ryman for a Grand Ole Opry-type show called Opry Country Classics which was great. And we enjoyed some genuine Broadway honky tonk and fried pickles at Robert's Western World.
I have been posting some sets on Zivity and even though you may have seen a few of them before, if you are a hardcore supporter and just want to send a little sunshine my way, please feel free to give them some love over there. My Zivity...
