I wrote the song about 2 years ago and finally it came to fruition yesterday (fittingly, on the anniversary of Gram Parson's death. I penned it at the Joshua Tree Inn, so no doubt it's influenced by him

my girlfriend catered... she made a really amazing vegan meal - it was eggplant on spinach topped with marinated & baked tofu and red onion, with a special sauce on top... totally nice because as i'm sure you know, shooting sets really works up an appetite.
