saw built to spill last night. did a great cover of 'white man in hammersmith palais' which is one of my favorite songs. saw just about everyone i know there but talked to almost no one.

I often complain about how there's no where to go (down here) and then when I finally do go out, I caon't wait to get home. gaar.

Cleveland night oooot: I'm all for it, though I won't really be safely ensconced in the Cleveland greyness until January. But I'll be there apartment hunting in November, maybe october.
I have yet to call any out-of-touch friends to tell them of my dogtailed return. It all is going to demand a huge cocktail party / house warming party come january.
Yeeeeee.
phnam phen (sp?) on the near west side is good for vietnamese, too. Or at least it was four years ago. I seem to remember a pretty substantial veggie menu.

anyway, it is a little chilly out here on the west coast but it's still sunny. i've got terrible circulation so i'm always a little cold. and no luck yet on the pilot light. i'll just have to go buy some new sweaters!

I did. I shall have to try some photos of him to scan and put in my pics...he was the cutest. We bought him from a fur farm as a pup- you can´t maybe save them all, but you can try to save one...

He never got 100% tame, but tame enough to hold in your lap, and tame enough to wag his tail for me. Which is a fun-looking thing, considering how long a tail a fox does have.

Recommend a good Pogues album for me?

keep a weather eye out for cheap apartments for me. I have so many favorite places in that town that once established I shall be a social whirwind dragging everyone with me whillynilly, hodgepodge, helter skelter, etc...
and...live music. ahhhh.
