yar,
I've been going into Mitzi's since about 1993! It used to be the best little secret, tin roofed $.25 pool place in Cleveland. I guess that it has since been co-opted by the alternative set, but I still love it (though I haven't been there for three years). And Siam Cafe, across the street, is awesome! I haven't had Thai or Vietnamese as good since I moved. Seoul Hotpot on Clark is good for Korean as well, or at least it used to be. All this is in the past tense. And, yeah, I miss leaf pile jumping, sweater wearing, crisp morning, baking stuff autumn mornings.
hmmm... don't really understand your sudden entusiasm with vote fraud, although I've read somewhere that the largest company producing electronic voting machines in the U.S. is owned by a group of Republican activists. hmmm... fishy as fuck.
In the end, it probably makes little difference in skewing election results compared to soft money donations, restricted access in national debates to third party candidates, concentrated right-wing media ownership, restricted, polemicized political debate in general, and every other fucking obvious thing there is.. not to mention that most young americans don't care enough to get out and vote (hmm.. I wonder what type of politicians young people prefer?)
Not to say it doesn't happen, but why resort to vote fraud when politicians have all of these other means of control?
geez.. this is my second straight post dealing with politics.. I'm going home to smoke some pot and watch Drew Carey.
