I can't believe that I can't go to college because Im too poor pay for it,this is one of the saddest days for me.

Here's the sitch
My identity was stolen so I have the worst credit.
My cosigner signed for me with salliemae
And I didn't get it.
I have to pay 18,000 out of pocket.
And my mother is on a hiatus
And my father is out of country...
All this money is due 7/26
Ugh I cried so hard,when they said "you didn't get approved"
I refuse plan b.

that happened to me back in 2002. I was supposed to go to Art School In ATlanta and couldn't get enough financial aid. I hope everything works out for you.

For real? I am guessing by your age you got the, "Your parents make to much, but in reality they don't have the disposable income to pay for it." I have had a lot of friends run into this problem, it is a crap situation. I am really sorry to hear this, I hope you find some way to work it out. If I was not fully funded by my school, I would not be able to do it.

You have to go after the other grants! I am pretty sure your co. has some sort of thing that they can afford you. Seriously check it out.

I've been out of school for two years saving up to go back since my fam won't help me. At all.

Sorry to hear that, I had to ask this year to study many credits! and also to get a part time job, I hope you find a way to Studies, is so unfair that education is not free, it makes me sad, many people in my country can not study because they don't have the money, even I could not without the credits I have, the problem is that I am so indebted that it take to pay all i owe i need aproximate 15 years

I would imagine it would depend on which college you wanna go to. You could always go to one in India. $800 out of pocket, I bet.

Poor darling. I'd say scour the net for scholarships. You'd be surprised where you can find money if you start asking the right people. I hope it works out hon. Maybe if you place a call to your dad long distance and explain how serious this is, he'll cosign with you. <3 Good luck no matter what happens.
