Your story about getting locked out of the house made me laugh and reminded me of a time years ago when a girl who I had dated a couple times had a house sitting job and invited me to spend a Saturday night over with her in the house. I figured my ship had come in, so to speak. But around midnight, she went outside to smoke a cigarette. When I came out I shut the door behind me and we were locked out. And it was winter. And our cell phones were inside. With our jackets. And we didn't know anybody in the neighborhood.
About three hours later a locksmith got us back into the house. Cost me $100, along with any other adventures the night might have held. And I never saw her again.
Sometimes projects are more expensive than anticipated. Think about keeping it going, if it is something you really want. I have a string of abandoned projects that I regret quitting on, but I never regretted carrying something through, even if it is not as great as planned. Just a thought. I'm sure you know best.
