Well I said I would write a note explaining our predicament and here it is. We've been in Texas for a month. We've been working ourselves crazy but not making enough money to do anything other than be stranded here. We make enough to pay our hotel, buy ramen noodles, and pay to work the next day. (Let me just note here that in Texas you have to pay before you work in order to work at all.) Well, we have been squeaking by until yesterday. We went to work and the manager fired us. They told Nix that her hair was too short. (No this is not an exaggeration. They've fired her because her hair is too short because that is how Texas is.)

So we took the night and looked at some other clubs to work. We found this one and they said no problem. We got up today and called them before we went there and we were told that we could work and to just come in before 10 and we would be good. So we went there at 9:30 and they told us that we couldn't work because we had to come in at 4 and audition, after they had told us on the phone that we could work tonight. We tried to appeal to their sense of self but the people here have no sense of self at all and by this time it was too late to go to another club. Also, the other clubs charge 50 at the door before you go in to work.

We have spent our last 60 dollars on the hotel room for tonight because we were under the impression we would be able to work tonight. We actually called them twice and they said it would be fine. The club basically lied and dicked us over and now here we are. I have exactly 50 dollars in my pocket, the hotel is 54 for tonight but even if we paid for the hotel we wouldn't have the money to go work tomorrow anywhere because they want 50 each just to work. But even if we did work, if we didn't make enough money we would be in the exact same predicament again tomorrow. It's a huge ring of shit that just keeps going round and round and round.

Before we were squeaking by, now we aren't even managing that. So, I'm open to suggestions here. I am open to pretty much anything at this point. Anyone have any good advice?
