Queensland summer has finally fucked off and the cooler months are here. i have so much more energy and snuggling in bed is just soooo yummy

to be honest, too much. ive done so much over the past 2 weeks that im completely an utterly fucked, exhausted, achy & er.....old it seems

the show was called Beasts of Burlesque & my Dads best friends son was hosting the show all dressed up in fetish gear & wonderful makeup. they kept being referred to as "the freaks" which i thought was kind of strange, as really, they just looked like the kind of people who go to the parties or clubs that i do
as i say "god bless the freaks". someone has to defend the lovely critters id love a massage?? anyone any good at it?? not dodgy at it, i said good

i love that my local grocery store is called The Rock n' Roll Fruit Market" and has a jukebox, which today had Devo blarring out of it.....
so, what have i been up too lately, hmmmmm.....i went to a place in Oz where the people arent friendly and the city smells funny, but i had fun none the less

In Australia, it seems to be (well, it is in Queensland anyway) that Butchers are the happiest, friendliest, most welcoming and almost overwhelming people in the workplace. why is this?? is it because of the smell?? the fact that they get to hack up dead animals with a huge knife (some insanity can make one crazilly happy) or is it that the job isnt the most beautiful of positions that they have to grin n' bare it??
ALSO.......are Butchers like this all over the world?? or just here??

i was visiting America with my boy and my 2 best friends. we hired a taxi and the driver gave us this big dreadlocked looking bundle with a red flower in the centre and attached it to the arial. we drove off for our holiday. on our journay, this ten story high, fat chord like thing with a mop on the end, tried to attack out car
it couldnt get to us though because of the thing the driver had given us. people in the streets were screaming like it was the end of the world. this went on and off for ages, it was a very stressful journy!! it seemed anyone wearing the colour red could not be harmed. and what were the rope like things?? the McDonalds corporartion trying to take over the planet im a lucky girl and received some more fan art

i dont have much to report other than im in a really good place right now. probably the best ive been in my life. this makes me really happy and excited cause im a bundle of emotions and nervous energy most of the time, so its strange yet great to feel almost calm and peaceful. dont get me wrong, im still totally hyperactive and talk too much, but underneath, i feel peaceful, you just cant see it
