I just got home from the doctors... Because it was a male doctor and on a saturday I couldn't get tested, but the diagnosis so far is that I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome but that will be confirmed on monday (with ultrasound, blood tests etc). But i had to pay £7.10 for strong ibruphen tablets for the pain. Argh expensive!

Yesterday, I went shopping at Lakeside with my sister.. we both spent about £70 each which isnt too bad as its things that will last us a while like jeans and nice tops but i had to buy jewellery from topshop coz i fell in love with this necklace hehe.

anyways nothing else to say may update later... im mega bored again.

oh my love, thats so sad frown i hope you feel better soon and you get some proper treatment! i hate how prescriptions are so god damn expensive - we pay taxes, give us free medicine for god sake!!!

try cocodamol - they knock you out a bit tho, but at lease u can sleep thru the pain and u can get them over the counter for a lot less than a prescription. i use them and think they're great smile

i really hope you can get this sorted out smile

Its in Tintern which is in wales (well only just really) its just over the bridge. We are renting it at the moment, it costs us £750 per month and thats for a 4 bed cottage with an acre of land and an acre of woods, we had to pay a month up front and a months deposit.

This place would be perfect for growing veggies and stuff, we will probably do that just as soon as it warms up enough.

I will get a few pics up later today.

Cold cold and cold, and things shut too early, apart from that its cool. Just wish it would warm up a bit thats all, having someone around is nice now too, forgot what it was like to be in a relationship but im enjoying it.

Im sure there will be plenty of places near to you that can provide everything you need when you want it, its very strange to be in a village though, everybody knows everyone haha.

thankyou for good luck wishes. im doing sociology at Nottingham, in my third year and am startng to scare myself about everything now!!

Im doing my dissertation on eating disorders and every time i sit down to read anything or write any of it, i end up in tears so its quite traumatizing to do it, but interesting at the same time!! ive done about 10,000 words out of 15.000 but i still have essays and crap to do next semester so its good that ive got most of it out the way.

how about you? i love hearing about other peoples courses, they seem so much more interesting than mine!! xx

Shopping = Win biggrin

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the doctors getting an ultrasound done soon. I'm not sure if it's better to know what it is, or better for it not to be PCOS?? One of my close friends has it. I'm not a fan of anything with 'syndrome' in the title!

One of my uni friends from way back had a similar effect on my, thankfully for my bank balance she moved back home to Glasgow a few years ago!
You're right about there not being much in the shops just now. I haven't bought much of anything (for myself) in ages. But then, I have been trying to save money, so possible nothing has risen above the threshold of interest enough to buy. I was going to go look round the shops today, but think I should do uni work (which I'm not doing!)

Syndrome suggests they have no idea what they're doing. Or it does in my book. But actually, I think it generally means they don't know the exact cause.
