I want all your opinions! Im thinking of getting this tattoo re-done, either with lillies again but go to a better artist or completely cover it with something like sea related. I dunno. I like the way Rigel's larger tattoos are like no black outlines kinda more realistic painting looking. If anyone has any ideas of what i can do post images, tell me ur ideas whatever. Im struggling to think of ne thing at the moment!
Here's what it looked like rite after i got it done, excuse the mozzie bites and tape marks!

Any ideas are appreciated plus artists in the UK that u no will do a great job! biggrin

Hi,
Adam Sage (ex Temple Tatu) now works at Into You in Brighton & London. He does all his work by hand, and so can do much more (finer) detail, plus it doesn't hurt as much and heals 100 times better. He did a beautiful lotus flower on my elbow (sorry, no pic) and I'll be going back to him for sure when i have any more tattoo cash. He's really good to talk to for advice if you need inspiration!

Paula is really good too & does a lot of flowers & intricately designed stuff. Into You's the best place to look in Brighton!! I had Jim do my (1/3) sleeve & whilst I'm happy, I think I'd only recommend the others (Adam, Paula, Alex, Jason, Woody). Good luck!!

Kouri at Holey Skin on Bath road in Bristol. Awesome guy. I've had my last 3 done by him and I don't think I'd go to anyone else now. A friend of mine had one done recently and went to him on my recommendation and came back raving about him.

Cover-ups are tricky--as a rule, the only thing that will cover black is more black, and it looks as if your flowers are outlined. But I think your flowers are cute... find a good shop with an artist whose work you like & get a consult. I've found that many artists are particular about doing cover-ups, and a professional would be able to give you realistic expectations. Perhaps elements could be added to it & you'll be happier. Best of luck!

I like that tattoo,. You should keep it, or as you said, just re-touch it wink

I don't think it's a bad looking tattoo at all, though maybe a little flat as far as color is concerned. Maybe you can have someone re-color it and add some more contrasting colors to it to give it more pop, as well as adding more shading to it. It could use some warm highlighting tones, like yellows and oranges, I think. The colors on it are very cool hues, so it could be balanced a little better. Then you could even add more different types of flowers around it that also have different colors. Covering up something that large would be nearly impossible, so you are much better off working with what you've got and sprucing it up a bit.

I have to agree with Snazzy, I don't see a lot of depth there. I think that part of the reason is that although the flowers are overlapping, you can't really tell that they're overlapping, they all just kinda run into each other. I think that shading would definately help and and maybe another loose petal brought into the foreground or something. There's my 2 cents biggrin

I don't know anything about tatoos but I did read your comment that your also "In need of sex" as the other

SG put it. I didn't know sex was such a hard thing to come by especially for an SG. I would think you guys

would be so famous that you could be (pardon my french) splacked and waxed on a daily basis. Anyway

As i responded to her I have several friends that have not had sex since the early 90's (am not even joking)

I also know one guy that is a virgin! (are you kidding me??) Thats what i said... Anyway they would be

drooling and slobbering to help. (iam not even that good looking and I think if i didn't have a gf i could of

gotten the girl selling me clothes that i just met yesterday)
