Sorry to hear about the bad news with your mate having to travel so often. Perhaps there's a bright side to this....maybe he can accumulate frequent flyer points and fly you to where he will be or take you on some exotic vacations? I know it's not like having him there more often, but....it's the best suggestion I have.

I know friendships come and go, but there has to be an underlying reason why all of this is happening. Do you think that your best friend might be into you? Maybe he is sad because you are with someone who brings you so much joy and happiness.
