I'm not a big fan of the friends only block myself but, it must have a purpose some where though. On the flipside kinda, I found this a bit funny at the time actually, there was a thread I happened upon last year where some one was complaining about people she had never met randomly friending her. I went to her profile and almost everything from her pictures to her blog where blocked so, if you were interested enough to want to get to know her, you had no choice but to friend her. So, I asked her about that, never got a response

I have switched over to mostly have a friends only journal, but I don't take it seriously, because what I say in my journal is seldom controversial....or maybe like NEVER controversial. I'm not really sure why I got into that practice, but I also accept just about everyone who requests my friendship.

Congrats on the new live set, I too wish some of your rejected sets would be picked for SCS, it does suck for the girls especially when the photography is so stellar, it makes it seem that the rejection is more personal than anything, and that's just not a nice feeling for the model to be having.

Yes, I am happy that I have a very capable and talented assistant.....the right assistant is very difficult to find....I am very fortunate and don't know if I could replace her adequately if she left.

Yeah I can imagine all the crap that floats around the models' heads when they're rejected for no discernable reason.
For a site that trades on its appearance to be supportive of new attitudes about beauty and empowering women, it's really uncool to make submiters feel like they perhaps weren't "pretty" enough or "punk" or "skinny" or whatever crap the media fills our heads with these days.

Yeah Valentines is coming up, it's not big here, even Halloween is kinda bigger these days... so I never got a card, nor send one

it seems like it's getting harder to get a set accepted nowadays, which sucks because a lot of them are shot wonderfully shot.
