today i sprained my hand. when i got home from the ER, my power had been shut off due to some clerical confusion. my oliver is out of town, so there's no one to help me navigate this dark house one handed. try lighting a match one handed! suck. i feel content though. sleep will be good. i'm charging my phone in the laundry room while oliver sleeps in a strange bed in oklahoma city, new friend kitten named harriet attacking his feet.
i have been putting my used tampons into a mason jar filled with water. soon, i will water my plants with the blood water. they will love it and it will make them happy. that is how the world goes, and should go. anyone who thinks otherwise is a madman.

i registered for school yesterday, starting two classes this week after work.
my nice boyfriend is out of town for like two weeks, which could be sad, but it's because he's taking our new diesel car on a tour of biodiesel co-ops between chicago and SF. and that is fun! he has my ipod and i made him a book of CDs to listen to also!
i am working hard at my fun job. geeeeek!
it has been sunny and last night the moon was so bright that i slept in a patch of moonlight in bed.
my cat is really cute and sometimes she curls into a tiny ball of white fluff and puts her little paws over her face!!! today she slept next to my head all morning instead of walkiing on me and waking me up.
all our stuff is in our apartment now! we have pots and pans and i can cook. it smells like home.

the truth is that i'm going to florida and puerto rico for the next 10 days. holy! i had to buy a swimsuit.
i also bust my ass at my new job and really miss my boyfriend who is really far away. and also, moving is really hard and annoying.
my life might be boring but i think that is what i was after.
a lot of cats live in my backyard, and make a lot of yowls. sometimes i dream of catching them and doing things to them like having them fixed so they don't birth many kittens who can't be fed.
i always know when my quality of life improves when i start having crushes on people. of course my boyfriend just read that sentence and is now flipping out SO LET ME EXPLAIN that crushes do not mean anything bigger than meeting new people and being fascinated by them. fascination is a sign of joy at the intricacy of the world and it's denizens.
