So I have been assisting Writeboy with some shoots lately. It is a lot of fun and I am learning a thing or two. I just sit back and watch him work his magical talent that he has. It is cool to hear him think aloud and see how he invisions things. He has taught me quite a bit about lenses. And it is neat to see how he gets the cool angles and artsy shots he gets.
Oh and if anyone is on the look out to hire a professional reflector holder....look no further. I HAVE BECOME A PRO AT HOLDING A REFLECTOR. I AM A PRO AT FINDING THE LIGHT WITH THAT THING.
I tried to sneak a few pics during the long tedious tiring hours of holding that reflector....hahahah so jk jk.....it was super easy.

BIRTHDAY COUNTDOWN CONTINUES: GUESS HOW MANY DAYS? OK I'LL TELL YOU: 22 DAYS
So I called off sick from work today....which makes me stress even more. I get these really awful headaches from time to time...and I am talking worse then migraines. I am talking they last for 48 hours straight. Hurt so bad it blurrs my vision and I wanna throw up. I cant think.....no literally it takes me like 5 minutes to even conjure up what I want to say and say it. It hurts to talk....any noise and smells make it worse. And the worst part about it...is typical people tell me...... well take tylonol....and as much as I would love to down tylonol to make it better. My health and my tummy do not allow it. Any pain meds hurt my tummy so bad. So I just deal with the pain.
So today was one of those days....and let me tell you....laying in a bed for 48 hours striaght and not being able to sleep and not being able to do much of anything makes Kraven so so restless and aggrivated. So I am attempting to take my mind off things of that sort by writting a blog!! Good idea right?
Thank you to all the members and SG ladies who keep commenting on my sets. It is you who keep me strong and hopeful. I really do hope I get to see one of these sets on the front page soon.

Oh and sad sad day for me..... I quit stretching my ears. I couldn't handle the constant pulsing and hot hot soreness it created every second of every day. I am not cut out for that kind of pain I guess. Bizarre.... I am such a wuss these days. Welp....that was short lived huh!
I have been on a Tetris kick the past few days... I play it almost nightly before bed....it makes me tired and helps me fall asleep. Any type of puzzle game I love playing...but Tetris always wins in terms of faves.

In other news.... I went and saw REAL STEEL today.... I loved it!!! The whole robot fighting thing is super cool to me...it is why I was obsessed with Transformers.... Robot anything is cool to me...and I totally wish we lived in a time where we could go to sporting events and watch robots fight to the death.
You guys all gave me some really fantastic scary movie ideas to watch this month....so I wanted to thank you all for your requests and fave movies...... I cant wait to find a few of them to watch.

I gauged my ears today....well I guess I cant really call it that... I am in the process....I want them gauged..... But I went to the tat shop and he just pushed bigger needles in the holes I already have....and ummmmmm ouch!!!! It did not hurt this bad getting them pierced....so what the frig. I have sensitive skin so if I put earrings in my ears that are cheap they get itchy and scab. But after this today my whole neck is soar...like my body is trying to reject even nickel free earrings....my ears and the back of head feels super tense. I can not explain it...it is like my body sucks and hates any type of pain inflicted on it..... I AM NOT A WUSS I NEVER HAVE BEEN SO I AM ANNOYED. We will see how long it lasts....I would love to have dime size gauges or holes should I say...but I am not sure my body will like the process it takes to get there....so we shall see.

Which means this whole month I spend my time watching scary movies, eating candy.....using Halloween as a excuse of course to be a chubby monkey......figuring out what I want to be for Halloween.....finding pumpkins to carve then of course having a whole day of carving and cookie baking. Drinking lots of pumpkin spice anything....coffee....lattes....hot co co.
It also means my birthday is getting closer. I am not really woooo hooo about this year's birthday for some reason. The older I get the more I just wanna forget about it hahah.

Just reminding you all that Little Monster only has 5 more days til it hits the 3 months of being in MR. I am a bit sad as I really felt that set displayed my personality the most out of any set I have shot. It was so crisp and vivid and colorful and I really strove hard to show improvement. I shot the set with Writeboy and he is so talented when it comes to shooting sets in natural lighting which is exactly what the site is looking for. In fact he is talented when it comes to shooting anything really. He could shoot a chicken in a brown paper bag and make it look so awesome. So I really had high hopes for this set. More so then any other set. And members seemed to love it. Over 700 comments in 24 hours and now it sits at the 3rd highest commented set in the past 3 months with 1186 comments and 97% loved. I have been told Patience is Virtue and while I am trying so so hard to remain patient.....like I said it only has 5 more days before it hits three months. I have never had a set bought from MR after 2. So that being said....enjoy it while you can....and if you are not giving up on it like I am not..... Keep rooting for it. Show staff how much you love it....and Maybe just Maybe it will get picked up in the next few days.

That being said... I also have my Alissa set in MR which I love for so so so many reasons. Not only are there so many great memories accociated with this set but Alissa made me look so sophisticated and classy and just beautiful. She really is magic behind a lens and then a complete sweetheart and funny person away from the camera. I love it. I also got to meet Pilot and Sunshine for this shoot and well they are nothing less than fantastic themselves. It is the 5th highest commented set in the past 30 days and has 1065 comments and is 97% loved. So I am not losing hope in this one either. It is doing really well. This is one of those opportunities this site has allowed me to meet some of the best people ever...Alissa, Sunshine and Pilot!

I really would love love love to set something up to shoot with them again in NOVEMBER for my bday..... but at this point I will not be shooting any more sets until one of these gets picked up. There is no point really if you think about it. Not saying I dont want to. I just have a different mind set on shooting sets and I cant keep investing so much money and time just to see one get picked up and two not. One getting picked up and then another two not. They were both shot by staff and they both did epic comment wise and % loved wise.
So I am done rambeling about all that. I am just letting you all know....to check out LIL MONSTER in the next few days and if you wanna see it up....then really let staff know....and if you wanna see Ruby Red up then keep rooting and keeping your fingers crossed. Cause if we wanna see more Kraven sets....that is what is going to have to happen. I really do put too much money into sets making them perfect for you. It is a OCD thing and I cant help it. So much thought going into finding locations as well. Also just letting you know I really wanna keep shooting sets so SG gods if you are listening know I love this site and I love what I do here for members and I love the community but my sets are also a important part to me being here.

And it is way better to appear patient and not care. But I do care. MOVING ON....... REALLY CAUSE THAT IS THE LAST OF THAT I WANNA TALK ABOUT AS IT MAKES ME A BIT SAD AND STRESSED AND I HAVE SO SO SO MANY OTHER IDEAS FOR SETS THAT I WANT TO PUT INTO MOTION FOR THIS SITE....SO KEEP LOVING ME AND THEY WILL COME!!!
For example.....Bella Booski has never made a debut in any of my sets before....and in case you didnt know she happens to be my best friend and is a huge part of my life. I spend a lot of my time spoiling her... hahahah
That is just one example of a cute set I would love to shoot. The other ideas I have I would love love love to tell you all but I fear if I do.... someone will do them before I have an opportunity to as they really are fantastic ideas. Me and Alissa have been talking about one for over 2 years now. Yes that is how epic the theme and time and cost are. So know there is plenty more Kraven to see if SG wants to see it.
What else..... Well I didn't want to jinks myself but that being said....remember how I told you that this site has been so epic in terms of allowing me to be myself, create sets and the amazing most wonderful people I have met here? Well without this site.... I would have never been able to get a Canon 5d mark ii....... That is right I am finally ordering it next week. I can not tell you how happy this makes me. In a way it is like a new door is opening in terms of my life. I for the longest time have wanted to make progress in the right direction of opening up my own photog business and could never do it as I didn't have the right equipment to keep up with trends and what is expected of photographers these days. But I will have just that with this camera and talk about a beauty of a lens I am getting. So with this camera not only comes Kraven happiness....more then I can express or make you understand....but I am going to attempt and hopefully succeed in shooting for SG. I would love to prove I have what it takes to be staff....so in about a week I will be letting ladies know I can shoot sets for them. I am sorry to those of you who have emailed me prior to this... I just did not have a camera yet worthy of lower lighting situations and now I will. I didn't want to email anyone back until I knew I was for sure getting this camera. And the right things feel into the right place and welllllllllll....... ekkkk!!! So excited. So email me again as I would love love love to set something up with anyone in the Midwest area to shoot.
I know you all have seen what Kraven can do in front of the camera but my daily job is spent behind a camera so I think it is time you see what Kraven can do on the opposite side of a lens!!! I just hope you are as excited and support-ful of that Kraven as well!!!

You helped me see through the hurt to stay positive and keep being the Kraven you all know and love and to understand sometimes people change. I am most likely going to start looking into moving within the next 6 months....places now on the list....
LA, NY, Ohio and Vegas. If any of you SGs are in any of these areas... I would greatly appreciate it if you emailed me any info so I can email you back and hopefully get some insight into job opportunities and apartment searches etc.

So today is a life awareness blog for Kraven. And I am sorry if this isn't the typical Kraven you guys like to read of. But I feel SG is my outlet. I can tell you all things, even though I have never met half of you and yet most of you either agree with me or you understand even if you do not agree.....
I had a real eye opener last night when I attended a good college friend and sorority sisters wedding. I have a job where I work different days every week. My days off are never consistent and I always work weekend unless I request them off as they are the busiest days of the week. So I never really get to go out and see my friends as often as they all hang out. I always make it a point to ask how things go even if I can not attend as I do love all my friends. I just cant take off work that often. I am barely making ends meet as it is. I need all the days of work I can get. Anyways....it is like over time they have quit asking me to do things. And while yes I usually am working...it is the thought that counts. And I may be able to take off here and there when I can. But they don't even ask me to do anything anymore. So I went to the wedding last night and the bride of course was beautiful and she talked to everyone that is just how she is. Such a good person. But other then that. Not one of my friends....and I am talking best friends....acted like they could of cared less I was there. I felt really awkward. And this is a really hard thing for me to go through and feel. I instantly shut my doors and put up a wall and get stubborn. I was the social bird of the group. I talked to everyone. I loved them all. They all came to me for advice and always needed me. And because I cant go out with them every weekend like they all do....they have shut me out of the group and struggled to keep a conversation with me. I was so sad.
It made me take a good look at my life and realize growing up sucks. You lose touch with a lot of people. And this bothers me more then it bothers some as I am such a good friend to people. I care too much sometimes and I am loyal until I am proved I need to be otherwise. So to care so much about all of them and love each of them dearly....it just hurt to be shut out like that.
I have been contemplating a move. And in my head the places I keep going to are Ohio and LA. And I have my reasons for why. And they always come back to this site. If it makes any sense I can only explain it like this....I have lost a lot of people in my life because they do not understand my life, they do not understand that artistic jobs such as working in a photography studio or freelancing is usually always done on the weekends. They don't understand why I have all the ink. They don't understand why I like to be as colorful as I am. And they get tired of hearing about SG. But thats just it. SG has become a huge part of my life. I have meet so many great people on here. PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND ME AND MY LIFESTYLE. So that is why I have been contemplating a move to Ohio or LA for a while. As I know so many ladies off this site from both of those places that I know I would get along with...become friends with and well to be honest people that understand me. Because I was shown I do not think people who I thought were my friends....care to anymore.
I need a change. That is what I do at times like this. A fresh start and I do not know how to get it. I have to have a job to financially move to either of these places and working in a photography studio is what I have done the past 7 years. I also am great as organizational skills and counciling others as they both are in my major that I am not even using. But I feel lost. I do not know anything about either place enough to know how to just find a job and move. I feel like I am whining and not even trying. If that makes any sense. I need a change....a better job.....good friends who understand me and know that I love the lifestyle I have now. And I may not go out all the time partying til 5 am....but I still am super fun to be around. Baking cookie days with Kraven is always fun ok!!!!! HAHAHA
I have been through a lot in the past year or two of my life. And I have had way more downs then ups. A divorce that left me in so much debt it isn't even funny. Medical bills piling up, losing my doggies, going from a house to a apartment I could barely afford was a huge shock to me, losing friends who didn't want to remain friends with me after the divorce as they were his friends too, struggling to make ends meet, working my ass off at a job that did not recognize it, I know I know it is the story of a lot of people's lives.....but you know I am ready for my good times......to outweigh the bad.
I am ready for a change. I am determined to make it happen. Not sue how with little money and little time....but I need to find a way to finally have some good. And to have people around me who love me for who I am now....not who I use to be.

So what have I been up to lately? Well I went to the zoo...which I always love.... I attended a wedding....which was beautiful..... I have been sitting by camp fires enjoying the crisp cool air..... I have been working a ton....I finally am excited for television now that my shows are all starting again. I have gone the past 5 months without TV....which is insane....I was addicted to the TV. And I can honestly say the past 5 months I have not watch a single tv show. I mean I still watch movies. But no TV. It is weird. But I can't miss Vampire Diaries and Grey's Anatomy.....so I am excited to watch those again.
I am turning 28 in about 2 months and that is freaking me out. I do not want to get older. I do not want to ever have my time here seize because I am starting to look to old for my sets to get accepted. I mean for real. I am terrified of getting older and looking it. Just a fear I have. BLAH BLAH. BOTOX HERE I COME I GUESS. Also I updated my wishlist for those of you who asked! I just updated it with some things I could really use in my new apartment.
