i live!!! ha ha...finally got over to a friend's house to check my email and shit, and of course SG! checking email at the library is so degrading. and a huge pain in the ass! god, the site has changed so SO SOOO much since i was last around. a lot of friends gone... oh well i guess these things happen. not a lot has changed with me, i got a job offer in new york city (brooklyn actually) but i would've had to pick up and move all before december, and it was a little much for me. but i can probably still get the job in the future, as long as i'm a good girl...i've always wanted to live there, but something tells me i'd miss texas weather a lot...halloween's almost here and it's still like almost 80 degrees outside. what the fuck is up with that? not sure what's up with the band. although i'm pretty sure we'll NOT be playing SXSW this coming year, which really bums me out because we have the past couple of years, and it's always so much fun. oh well. sorry this isn't a more thrilling update. i'm just such a homebody now. i know, that's lame. you guys are used to me being such a rock n roller, i think i'm just on a little break that's all. anyway, it's good to have a quick peek back and hopefully i'll be back for good soon... be good and have a fucking awesome Halloween!

awwww. thanks for all the birthday wishes...sorry i wasn't around to get 'em...i still don't have a computer or regular internet access...and i'm sneakily doing this at the library right now. but this should all be rectified soon...hang in there. i'm trying to! i had a really nice birthday, and you know i went shopping! ha ha! it was very relaxing. turning 27 is a little surreal...but i'm coming to terms with it. i'll try to update again soon i promise!!!

sorry for not updating really...its been...kinda depressing. i got a call from the student loan fuckheads saying i hafta give them money or they're gonna start taking it out of my paycheck. so...now i have to find all this extra money, and i just borrowed some money from my mom. ugh. it's always about stupid money. it sometimes just makes me feel like i wish i never went to college. cuz it's not really helping me. it feels like a waste of time and money. oh well. oh yeah. still no drummer for the band. hmph. hopefully one day...i had fun in LA, tho. i still like that city. it was hard work, too, but fun. i can look at clothes all day. all day and all night. well, i guess it's about time to drink that one beer i have in the fridge. god bless lone star. the end.

what a week...what a week...creditors wanting my money (of which i have none) trying to find a new place to live...trying to scrape by on pennies...trying to plan a ghetto vacation for when i DO get paid, and not having any luck cuz it's fucking memorial day. little did i know that when i asked off work for this weekend that every hotel in the entire south east corner of texas was booked, and i'm sure every inch of crappy texas beach will be covered in redneck assholes. ARRRGH! where else can i go? i need to relax, dammit! i need cheap, easy, and cool entertainment for a couple of days. any ideas texas peeps? if i can't find anything i'm just gonna sit in my front yard with the hose on my head...what a vacation.

oh gosh, i know it's been a long time since i've updated...sorry bout that. not a lot has been going on, and that's prolly why i haven't had a lot to say. so tomorrow is Mother's Day. hm. i don't think i've gotten my mom anything since i was like 12. i'm such a bad kid. i swear to god, tho, everytime one of these holidays comes around, i'm always broke! i might go see her, but i'm kinda doubting it. (lazy). speaking of lazy, today has been really fucking lazy. i slept in, then went to get some potting soil for my little tomato plants, and i finally planted them. i took pictures with my phone to post here, but for some reason, my phone's not letting me email them. every time i try it just sends them to my outbox for sending. go figure. me + technology = dumb as bricks. so i went to two shows last night. the first was to see my best friend's band Tokyo Nites, and then i went to Emo's to see the Faceless Werewolves and the Ponys. now i'd heard the Ponys before, and i actually went to see them last time they were at Emo's but i got sick and had to go home. so i had pretty high hopes for the show. but i have to say i was a little disappointed. they were waaayy less garagey and wayy more indie rock. i didn't even watch the whole set. if i'd paid to get in, i woulda been pissed. anyway, so our cable's out...i don't know why the internet is still working. i don't want to call the cable company because they might cut this off as well. right now we're watching my copy of Eddie Murphy Delirious that i bought at a Goodwill in Hays, Kansas when we were trapped there for 2 days on tour while it snowed a shitload in Denver, where we were supposed to be. oh well. hopefully tonight will be fun, the weather will be nice tomorrow, and this coming week won't be too painful! ciao!

i know this is a "duh!" question, but did you see Slide's set? holy christ! i think it's one of the hottest first sets i've ever seen, if not the hottest. maybe i'm just horny... the new stickers are rad! i can't wait to get some! i've been squirreling away my old ones, because i only have a few. ugh, i'm so tired right now. i worked like 10 1/2 hours yesterday, and 8 1/2 today, which i know is like, not that much, but i still don't think i've completely recovered from tour. i know i'm not really used to texas time yet. it's only 2 hours' time difference, but it makes me wanna stay up really late and not get up in the morning. anyway, not a lot has been going on...no word on a new drummer yet, which kinda sucks, but it'll happen eventually. i've been getting these weird little dizzy spells a lot, and i have no idea why. they only last like half a second, but it still freaks me out a little. hopefully it's nothing...i noticed the other day that 4 out of 5 of my favorite SGs are posing with their arms up. isn't that weird? i guess i like that pose...

heeeeeyyyyyyyyyy, guess who's back in town? we got back about 4 am this morning. it was a brutal drive from tucson, but it's good to be home. god, it got so hot while i was gone! i haven't left the house yet today. not that i really have a choice, i'm broke as shit! oh well, it was SO much fun! sure, there were some moments of drama, but overall, it was a blast. especially all the shows on the west coast. it's so rad to go back to places you've already been and play with friends' bands and hang out and party with them. i think i'm already having tour withdrawl. and it's kind of sad because now that we don't have a drummer, i don't know when i'll be on the road again. *sniff*. i wish i could've met more SG people, but considering like more than half of our shows got moved to different clubs, i don't think anyone knew where we were playing. maybe next time. well, i've gotta start unpacking and doing laundry. at least i finally got a shower! pew! ok, later dudes.
