Here's the new tattoo! I haven't taken any pics since it's been healed so maybe more later.





I'm hoping to have it colored in the next few weeks. The heart is going to be green and the artist is going to do some sort of purple and blue background. I'm incredibly happy with how it's turned out so far.

Ok, so here's what really happened. Apparently the dumb bitch who worked the front desk at the tattoo shop decided to steal the money the owners were giving her to pay the electric bill. For like 3 months. And she was hiding the past due notices. So the power really was shut off at the tattoo shop on my birthday and the day after. Hopefully their pressing charges and at least she's been fired. She was also driving away customers. My friend had gone in there looking for a new lip ring and the girl had told him "Oh, I don't think we have anything for you" all snotty. He said thanks to her he'll never go there again.

So I got the tattoo a week and a half late. I'll do another blog in a bit with a photo. Right now it's just black and gray, which is fine, but I just got done running and I'm not exactly photo ready.

Things are better with the new BF also. We're having fun hanging out and seeing where things go.

Happy birthday to me! I'm going to get some awesome chocolate mint cake at work along with giant chocolate chip cookies, then dinner with my man, then he's taking me to get a tattoo. I think it's going to be a great day.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting a new tattoo on Wednesday. It's been 2 years since my last. It's about damn time for another one! The artist knows what I want and is going to sketch it and email it to me tomorrow. If I get it I'll make sure to post pics. It's going to hurt like hell. I'm putting it on the left side of my rib cage.

Holy shit my life moves fast! I met a new guy and we hit it off right away. We've been dating for a few weeks now and we've already inspired each other's art. I've inspired him more than me though. He's already written 2 songs about me and posted them online. He wrote My Atheist Angel after I showed him the angel set I just shot. He posted it to some website he's on and apparently a label found it and liked it and they want to meet with him tomorrow. The recording is pretty rough since he did it in his basement but it makes me smile. I have no idea what the talk is going to be about tomorrow. I can't wait to find out.

I still have high hopes for this guy. His dog has already fallen in love with me. He even went running with me and didn't bitch about how slow I am. I think we're even doing a running clinic with his mom this weekend. That should be interesting.

Oh shit. I just talked to my parents. My mom said she just found out the memory issues she's been having since her breast cancer treatment aren't related to the radiation. She's had several small strokes without knowing it. I'm pretty scared because my mom's younger sister died at 55 from a massive stroke. She has to go in for more testing but the brain scan they did a year ago, which she apparently just finally got the results from because doctors suck, shows only minor damage but a lot can change in a year. I'm a little pissed that she had the scan done and never followed up with the doctor until now.

By god I think I've met a decent guy! Fingers crossed anyway. I have some hangups. If you know me well enough you'd know I might cursed with love. I always manage to pick the guys with emotional issues or something.

So I joined OKCupid to see who's around my city. I went on some interesting dates. None of the guys were bad or anything, just not for me. I got an email from a guy in my city who saw I run and said he's training to run a half marathon with his mom and do I have any tips. Clever boy, he didn't use a bunch of stupid ass pick up lines like some of the other guys did. We chatted back and forth a bit and he expressed some interest. I told him I think he's too young. He's almost 4 years younger than me to the day. We kept chatting back and forth and he managed to sneak in at the right time. I happened to have a Saturday night free because I had the time of my photo shoot totally wrong. I had the shoot at noon and we shot a set for SG.



No it won't be edited like that but I thought it looked pretty cool.

Anyway, so I had that shoot at noon and was trying to figure out evening plans during the week since I'd gotten the shoot figured out. This younger guy emailed me and asked if I'd like to hang out sometime, I said sure. We started texting back and forth for the rest of last week. On Friday he asked what I had going on that night. I'm so cool all I had was laundry and grocery shopping so he asked if I could hang out then. We hung out, walked his dog, talked, and he was really cool and amazed by the stories of the bad shit that's happened to me in my life.

We had a good time, hugged goodnight, and agreed to still hang out on Saturday. We did and talked a lot and he lived in CA for about a year and a half and seems to have the west coast mentality which made me feel at home. He's cool and laid back and so far mature for his age.

He's also a drummer in a local band along with a big boy job and has some sweet tattoos. He lives about 4 miles from me so at least I'll get to spend time with this one to see where it goes.

The Friday before I went on a date with a guy I kind of liked and when he left he said he definitely wanted to hang out again. I haven't heard from him in about a week. Why can't people just be adult and say thanks but no thanks?

As for Thor, I think that's history. He has no room in his life for anyone.
