WHY???

Why do people think this is attractive? I don't know who told everyone this makes them look pretty but they lied. These aren't necessarily unattractive people, but wtf? When I'm looking at pictures like this I can't tell if they are trying to look good or making fun of somebody. I should never have to wonder that lol. I really don't like making fun of people (and I'm technically not, just the face they are making) but I really hope this fad dies soon. P.S. I saw an advertisement for SG on there a few days ago with Patton but I didn't think to screen shot it for her so if it pops up again someone should take that opportunity. She'll be the most attractive person on that site by far lol.

it just makes me think of that time i got stung by a wasp in the face when i was six and my lips swelled up. i looked like that constantly for several days. oh dear god lol

i dunno where it started, but this is worldwide phenomenon.
in japanese we call those ahiruguchi (ahiru=duck, guchi=lips). and i am not sure how many guys really love it

reminds me of all the fist-on-chin photos people had taken in high school for their senior pictures. i think its the facebook equivalent.

I can't claim any understanding of this phenomena. Maybe _Trouble_ can offer some insight. She's been doing some research recently and has published extensively on the topic. [note, I'm not making fun here, she's seriously also commented on the admittedly disturbing trend.]
