On a cold wet afternoon,
In a room full of emptiness by a freeway,
I confess I was lost in the pages of a book full of death;
Reading how we'll die alone.
I'm not depressed. I'm just thinking a lot. I consider myself very realistic, neither on the side of pessimism or optimism, regardless of how others may view my acts or thoughts.
These days I prefer to be left alone. There are people I like to see; they are the rare exceptions.
I've had a lot of people constantly poking and prodding at me lately, texting me unceasingly. It's really getting on my nerves. I find myself ignoring people, pushing them away until they stop bothering me.
Most of the time, I am pretty happy. My friends keep me happy. The random texts from the people I do care for keep me smiling. I just feel like I'm missing something. Only time will tell, I suppose.
I've been spending more time with Venom which makes me very happy.
Bradley just moved to my area so I'm really excited about that too.
I went to see my best friend this weekend.

You are incredibly beautiful no matter what you do. I think that having the ability to be alone and feel comfort with your own company is a wonderful gift, even if it is only on occasion. We need times alone to regroup our psyche and re-evaluate everything we touch and how we do or would like to react. Who we are in private defines who we truly are, and by a great deal. Solitude suits you well, I believe, because of your confidence and intelligence. The key is to not lose ourselves in our silence so much that we loathe our lives outside our own space. <3 But I don't think I need to tell you that; you seem like a wise woman You and Venom look so lovely together in those photos, by the way--enchanting.
