They told me to stretch after pole dancing to alleviate the soreness. I don't think it helped...
Maybe I didn't do it right...

Have you ever had a friend tell you that they have a friend you've never met who's obsessed with you? It's awkward.
I guess I'm kind of awkward.

True story: my high school algebra teacher was a creep and although I only had him freshman year he remembered me for my next three years and when he subbed one of my classes senior year he got my number from another student. I also had to take a final in his classroom on one of my last days of class and he tried to keep me behind when I was done to talk to me but I got out of there real quick. Luckily he never called me (to my knowledge) and I've changed my number since. He always used to wear tight shorts that gave him male camel toes... it. was. disgusting.

The end.

Wow. Creepy teacher.

I did not know you pole danced. Not that I think you couldn't, I just hadn't conjured the image.
But now I have conjured that image biggrin

You had a camera, you did it right. <3 Wish I had the freedom to obsess over such an intriguing woman. Alas, the Army is my mistress and she won't let me stray... for at least three years. Raincheck on stalkering you internetly?

Stretching is a funny art. The most undervalued and most useful part of any exercise. Surprisingly though, most people do it wrong. A lot of people do what is referred to as "Ballistic stretching" which basically consists of fast movements, like the stretch in your first picture pushed over and over, like leaning back and forth. In reality the best stretching is done through moving/rotating a single joint very, very slowly. I tend to go top to bottom, so take the forward axis of the neck and nod forward and back slowly. Then tilt side to side. Then turn left to right. Then roll the neck at the end. Then slowly roll the shouders, then full arms, then hips and knees and ankles etc etc etc. Do it before and after each exercise and you'll find the negative effects of pronounced exercise are reduced, and flexibility will increase in time. Ballistic stretching is only really good when you are very young, as it tends to increase range. At older ages, it really just does the same/slightly less of a job as slow stretching, but with added likelihood of injury.

Also, the high school teacher story is fucking funny biggrin

I think everybody has a creepy teacher story, yours is just a little creepier. I had a P.E teacher who was notorious for hanging around in the locker room while the boys were getting in the shower.

I admire anyone with the skill and dedication for pole dancing, it's no way near as easy as it looks.

This shit.... is CREEPY! ._.
I had, in still have, some creepy teachers; one of my university professors is a really awkward guy, some times he does stuff like sending a picture of the chalkboard to his mom and calling her just after saying "look at what I just wrote by myself mom! I didn't even copied from any book, it came straight from my head, I'm so smart!" during classes... He always call a friend of mine by her full name, and with "Lady" before it; he has her her Citizen ID card number and her e-mail, and keep applying her to job oportunities without asking or even telling her anything...
Still, it's one of our favorite profs.... surreal

BTW, about that stretch thing, try doing like in the first pic, but sitting on your knees (like a japanese girl sits on the floor), and to stretch your legs, put a feet in a furniture (or something) above your waist line, keeping the other one on the floor, without bending your knees try to grap the feet on the furniture.

to help with the soreness warm up your body with some kind of cardio (run, jumping jacks., anything the get you sweating) then stretch, do your dance routine/workout and then do a cool down stretch. i use todo this for many years for football, baseball, basketball and track and when i didnt do it i would notice a huge difference. take a some time and read this

http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/features/new-ideas-on-proper-stretching-techniques

and as for the creepy teacher, its a little fucked up how much shit like this actually happens. there was a teacher in my high school that use to do similar til he got fired for cocaine possession

By stretching, I don't think they meant your underwear. biggrin

I'm not sure where you could buy one, but spending some time on a foam roller helps minimize lactic acid buildup and will help with the soreness.

And congratulations of front-page-iness! smile
