i have never been so interested in a single blog like this one.
makes my week seem so uneventful
i guess that it is the balance of the universe.

I totally hear you about being the third wheel. It sucks even worse when it's a group of couples and then you. Since most of the people I hang out with are coupled off, it seems to be that I am the lone singleton in the group.

It was OK when my former honey visited, and I got to hang out with everybody as a couple, but since she is now my former honey, it will be back to being the odd man out.

Anyway, have a great time at your niece's birthday party. It's fun to see how excited they get at that age for their birthday. I remember my nephews at that age, and they were hilarious.

Girl just make sure that the guy is a possible THE guy. What I mean is that he isnt just todays fun and tommorows heartbreak because theres chemistry but he lacks something critical you want.

I tell this to alot of people, and its one of the best pieces of advice i could give you in what to do before going into a relationship. Make a list of everything you want, doesnt matter if its important or not in a guy. Ex. he be blonde, he be green eyed, he be faithfull, he like dogs, etc. Then read the list back and compare it to the way you are, it should be relatively similar, if not, then you got to deal with why you want someone different than you, it shows a fault in self esteem.

Anyways lets say it compares nicely. Next step is number each on a scale of 1 to 3. 1is a dealbreaker, in other words he has it, or he hits the curve. Ex. He is faithful. 2 is a strong preference, something you really want but can live without. Ex. He has the body of a greek sculpture . 3 is just for fun, not that important. Ex. He likes cupcakes.

Ok list done, numbering done, now double check. Ask yourself for each what would happen if he didnt have it. Renumber if needed.

Done that, then next time you meet someone that makes you go "hum maybe" then out comes the list, and make sure he has all the 1's, a good portion of the 2's would be nice, and some 3's as well, but he needs to have ALL the 1's. This will save you a shitload of heartache
