I came to a realization today. I took a scientific approach to why I'm so unlucky in love. I made a theory, I tested the theory and got the same results repeatedly. No social skills. Oh well. Unfortunately science is logic and relationships are emotion, the two don't really combine. So my theory has to be thrown out for inaccuracies. Then I realized, every theory I've heard about relationships has to be thrown out too. There isn't "a right person for everyone" or "a perfect fit" or "plenty of fish in the sea". Some people just flat out will never find love. It sucks, especially because I fear I'm one of 'em, but it doesn't mean the end of my life or my happiness. I have a vivid fantasy life (which I never confuse with reality, mind you) and in many ways, I get to experience the impossible true love, if only because reality can't always affect what's only in my head. Everyone wants that great romance but a lot of people settle for contentment. I'd rather be alone and keep my dreams. I'm sure I've had a moment or two where I danced with you but I see no reason to ruin the fantasy by telling you. I only do it now as part of a comment, no insidious plans or hidden meanings. You should know your life is pretty awesome with or without romance. ...there's always fire. ^^
