We rescued a pregnant female cat from the trash burner in b-more last month. She had a single kitten that we will help out till its old enough to go to a new home.

So now I am responsible for the lives of:
A toddler
A large puppy
2 cats and a kitten
2 snakes
and a tank full of fish.
(And I have 6 chickens coming in May)

I decided to put them in order of ease of care

Large male cat
Tank of fish
2 snakes
Mama and baby kitty
Toddler
Puppy


Also note that the 1st four on the list put together are easier to care for then either of the latter singly.



I want to stress to all future puppy owners out there. Puppies are a pain in the ass. I love my girl. But for the effort of a single puppy, you could have 3 cats, 2 snakes, and a fish tank.
