Get me the model number off the bottom of it and I can tell you. Depending on age, it's going to be one of 3 adapters.

AppleTV is 99 dollars and you display content on TV over WiFi.

Steaming movies, desktop mirrors.. etc.

This is something I want to try.

or like MDF said, you can get an adapter and cable.

Miss you,

It looks like your Macbook Pro has a Mini-Displayport connector on it. Assuming you want to connect it to an HDTV, you'll need Mini-displayport to HDMI adapter. You can get get one from the Apple store or Best Buy, or if you want to save a few bucks and can wait a few days, order it from monoprice.com, for probably half the cost or less.
