Lost my father last year to cancer. I feel you there.

Yup, so far this year it has claimed one friend of mine and I heard yesterday about someone I was at school with has been told his is in operable and its only a matter of time. I have an ex g/f who also is no longer in remission and expects to be gone in months, so in all not the greatest start to 2012.

I know though that our mutual friend will want us all to keep going and being ourselves in chat, however hard it is becomming.

yeah, getting old sucks. Makes me appreciate life more when I see how fragile it is.

I'm dealing with my mother an her thyroid cancer right now I understand

My mother has incurable lymphoma. I know my beloved 3 ferrets will most likely die of cancer before old age.

I've never had to deal with anyone dying from cancer before now. I've been lucky, I know. This really sucks. That's all I can really say without tearing up again.
