Wow! Its been a month since my last post already!
I feel like I say that every time but its true! I'm shocked at the way time flies by these days.

Well, as expected so much has happened in the past month and I'm feeling like a whole lot more is coming on fast!

The weather changed drastically and quickly over the past month. Its so cold now I am ready to break out my pea-coat and gloves. Ive already started wearing boots and a hat all the time. I miss the summer but there is something so wonderfully refreshing about the cold weather.

Im going to break this post up into sections with spoilers for the pictures because its a long one. You can decide how much you want to read/look at!

TUGBOATS

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

I started off the autumn with a trip out to the tugboat graveyard on Staten Island. If you have never been I would highly recommend it! There's a lot of sneaking around, tromping through the mud and climbing over things but its well worth it if you like old decaying boats!

(Most of these pictures are from my friend Farrell who was visiting at the time)

After the tugboats we sat in an old cemetery and snacked and played for a while in the sunshine.

And then we stared at the Verrazano for a while! Probably one of the most beautiful bridges in the world!

APPLES, sort of.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

There was one weekend we all went out apple picking too. That was great fun. George had me sitting in a tree for over 20 minutes while he set up for one photo. Those boys and their pictures. (I suppose I should mention that almost all of my friends are photographers in some way or another so our outings usually consist of me jumping, climbing, playing and whatever else while they take a million pictures of everything.) We stopped a lot on the way out to the orchard and on the way back. I am not a photographer but I did take a few pictures that day.

The boys up front, probably arguing playfully about something.

My friend Farrell was visiting for a week around Halloween. She has a crazy diet so we were hunting for juice places most of the week. This is one place we found. She got upset because I wouldnt take a nice pictures. This is one of the better ones......

zoom image

Farrell also took a picture of me studying. This is what I look like 90% of the time now. In a sweater, in bed with books, papers, note cards and my computer. In any case, I like the picture.

I did manage to go out one night with some coworkers to the wonderful Milk and Honey. Its a speakeasy style cocktail bar in the LES. I love it there and if I could go every night I would. I dont have any pictures of the place but I did wear a dress! I really want to do my next set in this dress but it isnt mine and I need to send it back ASAP!!!!

OREGON

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

After all of that I took a little trip out to the Northwest to see some friends and family. It was only a week but I surely packed it in!!! Monday was a trip out to the Oregon coast with my grandmother.

My grandma is so cute. We just celebrated her 72nd birthday! She is awesome and yes, she likes to drink. Best old lady t-shirt ever.
zoom image

I discovered some old photos while I was at her house too. She used to be a professional belly dancer on cruise ships! She was in her 40s when this was taken! Jesus Christ! I hope I look that good in 20 years!
zoom image

After the coast and a short overnight trip to Seattle I was back in the Portland area for the rest of my stay. I got to have a drink and dinner with my oldest friend. Our birthdays are only 10 days apart and we have known each other since 1990! She is like my sister and it was SO wonderful to see her again.

We both take oral hygiene very seriously. Brushing at Ground Control.

A quick trip out to the bluffs was in order. I spent a lot of time out here when I still lived in Portland. It was bitter sweet going back.

Thats pretty much my trip in a nutshell! I got to have a quick breakfast with the lovely Lyxzen, Silencia and Atomicant. I wish it could have lasted longer but we are all busy people. I am hoping next time to spend more time with the wonderful SG community.

I finally has my sleeve worked on some more! Its nice to know that it will one day be complete. Hopefully soon!!!

The week in the Northwest was good for me. I got to reconnect with a lot of important people and started some loose friendships that can hopefully be revisited soon.

So that was my month! Its been great! I started working on the floor at my new job. The restaurant is finally open and its busy and fun. I really enjoy making cocktails. I have a lot to learn still and its exhausting trying to cram my brain with so much info but its all going to be worth it in the end.

Before I forget....... A lot of you already know or have seen the article already but....... I was featured as the Inked Girl for November in Inked Magazine! Its been pretty cool and its opening up some other doors. If you havent seen it go LOOK! I took a picture of the magazine if you want a little peek....

Well, I think thats everything my lovelies!!! I hope all is well in your world and I wish you all the best until next time!

These bruises were too good not to share. This is what a bite mark should look like. I have 11 of them all over my thighs, back and ass. Lets just say it was a great time.

I love Milk and Honey. It's like stepping back in time. And it's somehow managed to stay around - to stay the same, really - improbably, through the last few years when it seems everything is closing down. I haven't been in a couple of years, so thanks for the reminder.

Great article/pic, too!

Wow, lookts like you've been up to a lot and having a lot of fun (particularly regarding the bite marks). In this time of year when so many people are dreading the winter and seasonal depression and whatnot, its great to see such positivity!
