Tour starts in just a few days. Bettina got in late last night. We've got just this weekend for costume fittings and rehearsals. It'll be a lot of work but I'm so excited about touring that I don't care how tired it makes me. We're going to take a little break tonight so I can take Bettina to see her first Broadway show. We have tickets to Gypsy. I couldn't think of a better show to see right before heading off on burlesque tour!
Our first gig is in Baltimore at OTTO BAR this Tuesday January 13. It's always stressful starting a tour on a week day but hopefully all our fans and friends will come out to support us and we'll have a great opening day. Then we're off to MOJO 13 in Wilmington Delaware 1/14, Le Poisson Rouge in NYC 1/15, Asbury Lanes in NJ 1/16, The Tin Angel in Philly 1/17, The palace of wonders in Washington DC 1/18 and then on to about 30 more shows for a full list of our schedule check out the pretty things website www.prettythingsproductions.com
I'm really excited for monday. We have a meeting with Mark Mori the director of "Bettie Page Reveals All" The official Bettie Page Documentary. It's the only movie that Bettie herself was involved in so it truly is her story. He has put together a special tribute video for us to play at our show using clips from his new film. It can be seen exclusively at Pretty Things Peepshow events. You wont be able to see it anywhere else. I can't wait to see what he's come up with for us. I'm so excited to have such a rad sponsor for this tour! Also on Monday Vincent Drambuie, the host of the show and one of my best friends in the whole wide world flies in. Then finally the whole cast will be on the same coast and we'll be ready to get this show on the road (literally) I'll try to keep this blog updates with sunny show stories, photo and tons of other fun stuff.

I am pleased to announce that I have a new burlesque show that's doing a huge US tour in January and February 2009. I will be joined on stage by the Beautiful Bettina Suicide, 2 of my friends from the Coney Island Sideshow Miss Heather Holiday (The Sword Swallowing Sensation), Angelica (A real tattooed lady who eats fire, walks a ladder of swords and does an amazing whip cracking act) along with our host Mr. Vincent Drambuie and a special appearance on the Blade Box Stage, Mr. Bryce Graves From the Borthers Grim Sideshow. We will be starting our tour in the New York Area going across the south all the way then over to California and up to the San Francisco area. Are there any SG photographers in South Florida? I'm in West Palm Beach performing with the Bros Grim Sideshow. They just made my sideshow banner and I'm dying to do a photo set with it. We could use the whole circus tent for the shoot and the carnival midway. It would be the best set ever and I would be really to have the sideshow, which is such a big part of my life, be the background for an SG set. So if anyone knows of a photographer who lives here or is traveling her durring October PLEASE let me know.

This Sunday (July 27) I'll be hosting a new Rock and Roll party in West Hollywood. It's called SHELTER and it's going to be at FUBAR. It's being put on by a guy named Johnny 99 who used to do one of my favorite parties ever KIS OR KILL. I'm going to be introducing the bands, hanging out, doing an email list and (if I can find a pair or rollerskates today) skating around dressed like roller girl. SLIVER NEEDLE and NANCY FULLFORCE are playing and THE DONNAS are the guest DJ's for the night. The best part about it is it's toatlly FREE to get in so come on down and hang out with me. There's no cover so you've got nothing to loose!

I'm a bad blogger. I should have written all about how much fun I had performing with the Sideshow in Sweden and told lots of interesting stories about hanging out with all the bands and about how someone jumped off a bridge and Killed themselves durring the show and about all the cool new sideshow stuff Heather Holiday has inspired me to do. I should have also written about how I got to hang out with a bunch of cool SG chicks this week who I've never met before and how hanging out with all those awesome cicks made me really proud to be a Suicide Girl but I always seam to be too busy to write something really long And since my life is so crazy once I finally get around to writing it all down it's out dated and 20 other things more exciting have happend to me since then. I should really work on getting better at writing things down. but for now I've got to go sew myself a super sexy outfit so I can go-go dance at an awesome gay bar tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll find time to write about how I'm going to see bettina next week to teach a Pin Up Class in Victoria and how wehave new ones scheduled in LA and San Diego for August but for now I have to get back to work...

Join pin-up model/burlesque performer Go-Go Amy and Terribly Girly pin-up photographer Janette Valentine for a day of primping, puckering and posing! Learn how to do your own hair and make-up "pin-up" style and be guided through a variety of posing techniques with model, Go-Go Amy. All girls will have their hair and make-up done by a team of professional hair and make-up experts and will have their own pin-up shoot with Janette Valentine. Wardrobe will be available but ladies are encouraged to bring their own as well.
The class will be held on SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH, 2008 at THE HAROLD GOLEN GALLERY in the Wynwood Art District in Miami, Florida. Class begins at 10:30 a.m and will go on until approximately 5:00pm.
A deposit of $100.00 will be needed to reserve your seat and will be applied to the cost of $350.00 for the class and photo session.
All ladies will receive: Go-Go Amy's How to be a pin-up girl workbook along with her informative class. I got a new tattoo!!! I've been wanting to cover up that gay dragon on my leg and I finally did it. On my birthday last week I went with my friend Mario to Spotlight Tattoo so he could get this amazing snake tattoo. While I was there I started talking about how I wanted to get a cover up done and this super cool tattoo artist named Steve started drawing on me just to see what he could do with it. I knew I wanted roses but had no idea what it should look like. So I just let Steve do whatever he wanted which was a really good idea because now m tattoo looks AMAZING! I got the outline done that day and then yesterday I was in there for like 6 hours getting it finished up. I was supposed to go in a few times to get the color done but I was so excited about it I decided to live through the pain and get it all done in one sitting. I'm performing at the Ink and Iron Tattoo Festival this weekend (June 6-8) and I couldn't get on stage and do burlesque at a tattoo convention with just an outline so I just had to grin and bear it. When It was all over I kinda felt like I'd been hit by a truck but I was so happy to see how beautiful it is.
