WAIT. THIS has been updated. too lazy to write all new shit.

I was just thinking about sending a letter to Bret Easton Ellis, posing as a teenager lusting after his ass and requesting that he kidnap me.

!!!UPDATE!!!: this is just unbelievable to me - my friend, bryan, who opened the gallery which prompted my luck with 2 agents here in new york has just moved and sold most of his furniture in order to pay rent on the gallery to keep it open. he said it has been worthwhile because it has helped me out so much. he also donated some money to red cross for the NO victims. what an awesome guy. oh, yeah, we are having a NO fundraiser later this month at UU Gallery in Williamsburg. I will be reading, cover charge i haven't figured out yet, anyone who buys my book, the money will go to the fundraiser as well, people COME OUT
there will be free wine and snacks.

everyone please go say hi to treason and averagegroupie. our friend's memorial service is on friday. we are all pretty broken up about the passing of this amazing guy.

I heard from another agent who read my collection of short stories over Labor Day and said he’s now “a fan” of my work but he didn’t know how the hell to market that book, so I sent him chapters from a new book, “Virgin Zoo,” about my life on the streets of Chicago in 1996. I get the hint he wants gritty, semi-true kinda stuff and he seems pretty enthused about getting me a book deal.

Half of my mind is lost. The other half I’m currently trying to sell.

I'm not in the market for a new brain, thank you.

How about your liver, would you be willing to part with that?

I know what you mean, just throw yourself into your art and let the hurt bleed into it.

You want to be a Belinda?

I hope everything works out for you. And I really hope you get a tolerable job . . . working sucks ass.

Can I be demented with you? I want to be kidnapped and molested so I don't have to work. I can even pretend that I don't like it if it's required. You can tie me up and beat me with dildos, hahaha.

Hey speaking of hot sexiness, have you even seen one of those live action "La Blue Girl" movies? I've seen them for sale before, but never watched one. I don't know how they could do it, a plethora of 20 foot long penes?

A novel by Anne Rice written under the under the pseudonym of Anne Rampling.

I don't want to ruin it for you if you choose to read it, but here's a selection from a blurb on it.

"Jeremy Walker, a middle-aged children's book author renowned for his beautiful, old-fashioned illustrations, is captivated by a 16-year-old woman-child who tells him nothing of her past when she moves into his San Francisco home. Obsessed by Belinda's smoky sexuality, the paintings in which he celebrates her beauty are an erotic and sometimes violent extension of Jeremy's books."

Great book I couldn't put it down.

Wait a second on Lunar Park: I read a review (in Playboy!) that made it sound morbidly depressing. surreal But I haven't read the interview yet. I've been swamped. Not doing much but not budgeting my time well and doing all this Katrina talk. smile puke

Let's just all go work at McDonald's. puke puke puke puke UGH. Well it's nice to know we're trying to stick together stylishly...

You know they're shipping over 1,000 families to Philly from Katrina, so excellent chance I say of people winding up in the NYC....so you may be able to give of yourself at some point. Also people who are rounding up physical donations (from food to clothes, etc)--Red Cross, etc are not taking them now but they WILL as soon as the city is evacuated. I've been talking to someone who is going out with a medical crew with the only mission of "recovery" (bodies. She's an EMT) and she gave me a lot of great info. I am considering buying fishing pants!!!!!! You know the ones that are tits high!?!? YEAH.

Annnnnnnnnyway. I don't remember anything else. OH! I was emailing with Phil today, that was so rad. I mentioned my love for you.tongue tongue He really wants to help with Katrina stuff...I can say that whenever I go and do whatever I want to head into NY after I think. I probably said this. I am just so confused right now!!!

More on my son.

I gave a little explanation in my journal about what's going on, but it's really too complicated and too early in the game to get too detailed. I've only got one side of the story, though knowing my son, I think he's getting a raw deal. He's a soft touch, and this now ex-girlfriend played him for all it was worth.

You could write a book about it!

Ah, good one abou the job interview. Always something like that. It's appropriate you had to walk like that in such shoes since interviews are often like getting on a pole naked for these scumbags. Oh no I am never bitter!!!

Well I am clear that Lunar Park has to be nuts b/c I understood the twist of it is "no matter how hard we try to escape we all become out parents" but very much in refernce to abuse and misery, etc. Yes? I don't know.

Another one of my friends called and mentioned Rick, she didn't know we knew each other and she directed me to myspace page which I linked here. The comment from Sioux--is cold. I mean that's how I feel obviously. What's interesting is my friend said she also had no idea he used drugs and she's even seen hum recently, whereas with me it's been years. So I was glad to know I'm not the only idiot.

Oh Lord I just prepared a comment for the myspace page, it shed some tears. I have to send it to someone else to post. I never knew he had the account. blackeyed
