So my redneck cousin has recorded a Christmas album. I suppose I should share my familys enthusiasm. I just cant. I still have last nights lyrics from a thrash band called Vermafug running through my head Raped by Satan! Raped by Satan himself! Kind of hard to get out, ya know?

I have to pee. I started a screenplay last night about a seventeen year-old drummer who befriends his now out of the closet gay father, whom he hasnt spoken to in almost a year, and they start hanging out. His fathers a journalist in the New York music scene, which leads to a new bond between them. Its kind of American Beauty meets Detroit Rock City.
Im submitting the logline to filmmakers.com later tonight.
Perhaps Ill post some of it when its done, which wont be for a while ..i have to go torture my hair some more now.
